It was a perfect fit, brakes very well, and cheaper than replacing the pads and magnet. Just overall a lot easier to deal with than fixing the old brake. The current consumption during breaking was good, pad engagement with the drum was good. The included fasteners are reasonable quality, fit, and easy to use. Make sure you’re getting the correct right or left side. While the brakes will function going backwards, they are manufactured for one side or the other and it’s important to use the correct side. This was to replace a braking plate and assembly that was destroyed getting camper off the interstate to replace a failed bearing. Just bolt them on and go looked great and makes noise when brakes are applied.

I bought these for my 18ft 7000 lbs gvwr flatbed car hauler. They are an exact fit replacement for the original ones. They are easy to install with minor adjustments and are fairly priced as a set of 2.

I replaced the whole brake assembly this past weekend because I had 1 bad magnet. Fits and works well. The hardest part was removing the stuck brake drum and the rusty nuts on the backing plate. I was very happy that this kit came with new nuts. I really needed them.
