My A/C was intermittently failing to start. No power issues at house, so this seemed the likely suspect. A little thinner than the original, so I had to use some foam to fill the gap. But, works perfectly and no issues since replacement. Way cheaper than having a repair person come out. Just be sure to de-energize it after power it cut to drain off any remaining charge. Simple to do with a multimeter set to ac and held across the terminals. Lots of you tube videos on how to do. But whatever you do, do not short across terminals with a screwdriver. The media could not be loaded. Exactly like original,Definitely wear rubber gloves because even after turning both breakers off there was still some power to heat pump/ac compressor,and 240volts will do more than shock you. Old one was making a noise when unit powered on.
