Our dogs kept digging underneath our fence to play with the next door neighbor’s dogs. They were getting quite large so we added a couple panels of the fencing and they definitely are in the ground. Used a hammer and I tried pulling it back up with the other end of the hammer, but it didn’t budge at all. Our dogs haven’t been able to take it out at all. Does the job!     • Quickly block holes dug under the fence by critters. Also good for chicken coop/tractor or garden.
10 Pack Animal Barrier Fence - No Dig Garden Decorative Fence Rustproof Metal Wire Panel Border for Dog Rabbits Ground Stakes Defence and Outdoor Patio, T Shape. Total Length 17 in(H) X 10.8 Ft(L) I got these to plug up sundry holes dug under our existing fence. We have woven wire horse fence around our property, and I usually use trimmed sections of cattle panel to anchor the bottom of the fence and close big gaps that would let our dog out or other dogs in. But cattle panel sections are too big to stop smaller animals like foxes. These are a good quick fix for such holes. They're not super heavy duty, but they're sturdy enough. They're similar in weight and composition to a wire kennel or cage, so they're not going to last forever, but they're a perfect medium-term solution. The spacing is great for smaller animals, and I think the spikes extend down enough to discourage further digging. I'm using them singly to close holes under our existing fence, and just zip tying them to the existing fence to stabilize the tops, but you can also attach them to each other to make a continuous barrier, which would be good around a patch of garden or landscaping that's attractive to rabbits, skunks, etc. Just to be clear, this is not a beautiful look in my current application, but nor is the fence I'm mending, a woven wire fence with steel t-posts. But it doesn't stand out and it will be quickly covered with grass and wildflowers, come spring. In general, I'd say this is built more for sensible utility than beauty, even in a more elegant setting than my pasture fence. These would also would also be clever around a chicken tractor, since they're small and easy in and out, and many tractors have a wheel gap. You could connect them together to fit the size of the tractor, then just pop them into the ground right up flush with it, then pull them out and fan-fold them, throwing them on top of the tractor when you move it. They'd also be perfect for a small animal outdoor playpen, if you want to take your bunny or Guinea pig out for a bit of fresh air. The pen wouldn't be predator-safe, of course, but will keep them from scurrying off if they're supervised. ... show more

My dog and the neighbors are determined to dig a tunnel under my fence to get to each other. I have a wrought iron fence so I installed these and secured them with industrial zip ties. So far they haven't been able to get through - and its actually been a deterrent for them to continue trying.

Based on pictures it looked like 10 would be enough but it wide enough to go across an area in my yard but it wasn't. Also not as strong as I though it would be.

I initially got these due to my neighbors husky that dug his way in my yard, glad I checked before letting my dogs out (pits)! Neighbor doesn't care about the damage his dog has been doing. So I got these, lined them across the fence, no more breaching the fence. My dogs had also started digging when his dog was out & digging. The bottoms are sharp & I assume his dog learned as my younger one did. She came in with a surface scratch on her snout, nothing serious or anything, since then there's been no problems with digging on either side. ... show more
