Frame is well made, easy to put together and sturdy. Great deal for the price. I put a queen size mattress directly on the frame and you can sit comfortably with your feet touching the floor. My 80 year old father-in-law is only 5' tall so this made it easy for him to get on the bed.

Easy to assemble by myself. Great price. No noise. Right size. No problems w shifting mattress. The bolts w rubber gasket nuts still do not stay 100% tight, but i continually check them, and there seems to be no play in legs @frame connections. I wish the bed slats had a different or additional layer of securing method to the frame, but there is no concern ab them w frame in upright, normal position. All parts I received fit correctly, though one or two of the slats have a mm or two variation in length - none proved too short or too long. Functionally, this is an excellent bed frame so far. Only have a couple of minor complaints: The headboard attachment slats are not where a headboard could line up with the frame. I would need to move the bracket on my headboard. Also, it would be even nice to have footboard attachment options bc that would also reduce mattress movement, but this would be problematic w the rounded footer legs (the other legs are not rounded). The obstacle on both counts (re: taller bed options - I have the 20in model) is the height discrepancy btw a typical bed’s head/footboard and the frame’s extra tall dimensions. My headboard is already tall, but is hidden behind my pillows now (leaning against wall unable to attach). The footboard does not clear the top of my mattress w its feet on the floor, and it blocks access to the under-bed storage, so I am not using it. I had hoped to erect the lovely wood queen bed I have that joins the head and footboard and is just incrementally larger (in length and width) than the dimensions of this metal frame so that it would be covering this less attractive feature, but I would have to forego all access to storage space beneath because I cannot attach it to the higher frame, so I would need to use the wooden bed’s original legs and it would look like my bed dropped its pants. The relevant point is that I would not count on attaching a typical headboard without the tools and option to move your attachment brackets and account for height differences. The other potential hint I have is re: the “protective” feet of the legs are hard plastic and are not grippy, nor are they particularly protective of wood floors other than they are better than nothing. I added some stick-on felt furniture pads and the adhesive on them is terrible, so I have to re-align them every time i make the bed or move it. It will be an easy fix once I am in the mood to crawl around under the bed to each leg. I have yet to achieve that mood. No surprise there. Anyway, if you have delicate floors to protect, add your protection during initial assembly. If you want to use the common tan (or black or green, i have also seen) stick on furniture foot felt like I did, i recommend applying some extra adhesive (carpet tape, gorilla glue, flextape, etc.) during the process.

I am only giving one star because i can’t give less. This is the most horribly engineered and manufactured piece of equipment i think i have EVER had the displeasure of putting together. First, the instructions were horrible and hard to decipher. Second, the measurements were completely off, leaving at least two inches at one end that it needed to be extended to make the inner crossbars fit. I guess you get what you pay for. This was cheap and obviously so in the way it was designed. Don’t waste your money on the chance that your was properly measured.

Pros: Fairly easy to assemble for most anyone Well packed Simple instructions Feels solid (after some modifications) Cons: 4 of the bolts at the head end were not quality ($7 replacement) Ugly yellow sticker won't come off without Goo Gone and elbow grease The frame itself is of good quality and easy to assemble. I would recommend using a ratchet to secure the nuts on the bolts because they seem too easy to loosen with the included wrench. Additionally, the 4 "I" bolts and nuts that go at the headboard end of the bed will leave about a 1/4" of loose space in the frame (ie the nuts won't screw on far enough and leaves the frame is loose somewhat. While I still think the bed would be fine, I like my furniture to be solid so I opted to replace the bolts and nuts (1 1/2" x 5/8" bolts and nuts). The bolts provided seem misthreaded as they wouldn't take a normal nut either past a certain point, so I had to replace both. This was an extra $7 dollars and time out of my day unexpected, but worth it to know I'm not risking anything. Additionally, there's a large ugly yellow sticker stuck on the footside of the frame that won't come off unless you use Goo Gone or something. You could probably cover it with a bedskirt but just annoying that it didn't peel off easily like the other stickers stuck on the frame. Other than those two things, it seems worthwhile. It comfortably fits most storage totes under the bed which is why I bought it for my small apartment.
