This is the tallest frame of this type I've ever found. Lightweight but not poor quality by any means. All of the parts were well constructed and clearly labeled. I put it together by myself in roughly 15 minutes once I got everything laid out in the correct order. I've got a tiny bedroom, so if I wanted more storage, I needed to get a bed frame high enough for that. The mattress I bought is 14" thick, so I have to step on a chair to climb into bed. I only sleep in my bed so I can't attest to how sturdy it is for rowdy kids or "rowdy" grownups. I'm 220lbs and it's not made any sounds of stress. This was the easiest bed we have ever put together. Its strong, and very sturdy. Every thing came packed well. Instructions were very good. Took us 20 minutes to put it together and that includes unwrapping it all. My only thought is I wished it had an end piece to keep the bed in place.
