Granted, nothing is perfect, as I'll explain later. But once setup and configured, it's a great "babysitter." And on that note, mine is used in a babysitting environment. There is a drawback to using it that way, but it's easily overcome. This laptop expects the owner to have a Google account because the tablet expects you to create a parental account for your child, using your child's actual name. Google will help you add, use, control, and manage your child's use of the tablet. Since mine is being used generically, I just created an account called, "Child." That way when the tablet boots up, it says, "Hi, Child" The tablet mainly defers to Google's parental control features to operate. I don't know how specific the tablet's OS is configured, but it runs a custom front end geared toward children. Using the power of the Google "Family Link" software, you can set time limits on applications, both globally and on a per-application basis. You can also extend or reduce those time limits on demand. The tablet takes about three hours to fully charge. It also comes in a nice silicone case that has a hinged handle for easy portability. The screen is bright and clear and displays many of the built-in games and learning applications using an interface that's geared toward a young child's dexterity. ... show more

I really like the size of this tablet as well as the protective case. It comes with numerous apps preinstalled as well as the android operating system so downloading of other apps and setting up of parental controls is easy enough. Well made.

Beware that the case is not very protective especially for smaller kids. Not a lot of protection. The stand to prop up the tablet is extremely cheap. It broke in the first 2 minutes of using.
