It not only is a wonderful vinyl player, that plays 33's, 45's and 78's, it also has a CD and cassette deck, along with mp3 player The only draw back is the sound isn't great, but I connect my external speaker or headphones and it is awesome. Thank you so much.

First you see these tiny lil speakers on the side and think ,”crap, this is gonna sound like a clock radio”, WRONG!! Now it’s no window shaker but it really sounds great, nice full range sound, and you can always plug in extra speakers. What’s gonna blow you away is what it does, for just a tad over a 100$, I have a quality RECORD player for my old cherished vinyl, it’s got a CD player on the front, a CASSETTE deck on the side, of course your radio tuner as well, but it’s also got an SD card slot, a USB port, Bluetooth, I-Pod connections and more, holds more presets on the radio tuner than we have stations, plays records , CDs and cassettes perfectly. My ONLY complaint is I wish the cassette deck had a “record” function instead of “play only”. That way I could make mix tapes like the old days, lol ... show more

I absolutely live this machine and it pretty much works great but I don't love the cassette player, which was the primary reason I bought it. It works fine, too, but I don't like the irriration of only having fast forward and one button to operate it. I'm returning for one with a full cassette player on the front but it's very functional. So cute. Great size. I'm really impressed. I just want a full retired cassette feature. If you don't care about the cassette functions, it's a great machine, and to be cleanse the cassette function works just fine. I just want all the cassette player features. I do recommend this one. This stereo does it all. The only thing missing is an eight track player. Which is convenient because most of us has CD's and cassettes lingering around . best part is the price. I've spent more on lower quality clock radios.

I was really excited to get this because I've wanted an easy way to play my largish collection of vintage 33s. Everything else on the unit worked well--no complaints. I was disappointed when I played the first record because over the sound of the music, there was a constant-frequency hum. I thought it might be the record, so I tried different ones and got the same hum. When I contacted the customer service address on the box, they suggested changing the stylus and using the extra one that was supposed to have come with it. There was no extra stylus, so I asked them to send me two of them. Customer service then said they were sorry but there were no styluses available at their warehouse. I gave them a deadline to send me two styluses. They offered a $20 refund as compensation if I kept the unit. I kept reminding them that the primary reason I wanted it was to play vinyl. Then they offered a 25% discount and no replacement styluses. I returned the item to Amazon (very easily) and got a refund. I will say that the customer service person was always cordial, but ultimately I think they could have solved the problem another way. Addendum: The customer service representative emailed me after I returned the unit and mentioned they had read my review and she had "applied to her manager for an extra $20 refund as compensation." I accepted the offer. Once it had been credited to my cc, she asked if I could cancel or update my review on Amazon as it had "a large effect on our products and store performance on Amazon." When I didn't do that immediately, they sent another email with the message that they "thought the problem was solved" and again asked me to cancel or update my review. I don't think a 3-star rating is terrible. My review reflected that my dissatisfaction stemmed from the fact that the primary reason I bought this was for the turntable so I could play records. I still credit them with an otherwise satisfactory product. I believe that reviews should be honest; otherwise the review process is a sham. ... show more
