There is a lot to like about this phone and while it has its shortcomings, the fact that it is priced at $900 at its entry point instead of $1,000 makes the value it offers that much more appealing. In fact, for most people I would actually recommend the entry level Pixel 6 since that starts at $600. With the pro, you get -A bigger battery (probably to compensate for the bigger screen) -12GB of RAM (instead of 8 on the entry level) -120Hz refresh rate (instead of 90 on the entry level) -Quad HD display (instead of full HD on the entry level) -A curved screen (instead of a flat screen on the entry level) -A wide angle selfie camera (which is missing on the entry level), and -A telephoto lens (which is missing on the entry level) There are more differences here and there, but those are a few. I don't like large phones, but both the entry and the pro are large. However, I chose to go with the pro because I did not want to miss out on any of the camera features. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra may actually be the higher performing phone, but that is the thing - it is more expensive. For what you pay for here, you still get a great value and compared to the S21, I don't know if the latter's advantages really makes a difference of $100. And iPhone 13 pro max is arguably better than both but again, it is more expensive than the Pixel 6 pro. I believe most if not all people who decide to purchase it will enjoy the experience of having and upgrading from whichever phone they had previously. No product is perfect including this one but for what you pay for it is well worth what is considered to be a flagship smartphone, and that is why I am taking half a point off. ... show more

I previously have had Motorola that had superior battery life and the moto actions are missed. The camera on this phone is fantastic and the faster processer helps make up for these draw backs.

This is the first time I spent more than $80 for a phone. I've had it for over 6 months now and have no complaints. I'm extremely happy with photo quality as well as very smooth video recording! I recorded a video of deer outside of my screened window, holding it in my hands for over 10 minutes. I was blown away by the quality of the video! Hardly any shaking. You would have thought I had it secured in a holder. All other previous phone pics taken through my window would show the window screen blur the subject (Pic of the deer). This camera barely shows the screen (Pic of the outdoors)! ... show more

This phone has a lot going for it. Beautiful display, sleek design and immaculate construction. The Tensor chip is fast and can easily handle everyday activities. Battery life on a single SIM is also very good. All day easily by my use. And with careful monitoring, it can reach 1 and a half days before conking out. So far this is a 5 star review UNTIL you get to the fingerprint sensor. This thing is frustrating. It often fails to sense your finger even with dry hands and even worse when having non-dry(moist, clammy or mildly greasy) fingers. And yes, I have tried multiple recordings of the same finger. The fingerprint sensor is something you interact with each time you pick up the phone. To be frustrated each time is just exhausting. ... show more

Bought from Amazon Warehouse. I received a defective product. There was no camera module inside of the phone and the fingerprint sensor was not working. I would not recommend buying anything used or renewed from Amazon as this is possibly the 4th time in a few years I've gotten items that were either defective or described poorly. FD. Brand new in the box and never used. This is a really good phone for the $. Don't be fooled by all the poor battery life stories as that only happens when you first get the phone. Once its updated and set up the battery problems go away, I have had 3 of these the first one broke falling off a 2 story building so I know the phone and all 3 stopped having battery problems like I said. ... show more

I ONLY bought this to be used as a camera, not as a phone, so that is the only thing I can rate. I live where there is no cell service. I raise/show dogs so I needed an outstanding camera to take puppy photos & boy does this deliver. I'm amazed. I switched from a Canon PowerShot SX620 Digital Camera w/25x Optical Zoom & there is NO comparison. The clarity of the photos this phone takes is astonishing, every hair on a puppy's face, no discoloration of eyes (I do not use the flash), colors are SO true to life. It's beautiful, it's fast, the cameras are great, and it has every feature you could want. Make sure you install ALL the updates to be sure all is well! I don't have any need for 5G here, so I can't test that feature. The WiFi 6 is very good and FAST, and the Bluetooth unexpectedly connects to my hearing aids. That was a pleasant surprise.
