Ok, so this thing does look really cool at first glance. There is no doubt. Don't be fooled though. If you're looking for premium or have a taste for high quality, high functioning things, or hell let's just say at one point you decided apple is more dialed in then android so I'm getting an iphone then this is not for you. If you don't believe me go on youtube and search for "tesla style screen in ram" and there's dude with a 2017 that takes you through the details. On the video it's apparent let alone in person. * that crappy not black blacks you see in crappy decks * slow. slow slow slow. do you want to wait a second after every clip? no way. not me. i'd go crazy. I have the uconnect 8.4 and that's what I love about it. fast like it should be. * the UI. yes it looks ok at first, but I guarantee these guys that made that interface did not think it all through and this is a complicated UI that has to do a lot of things. * that last comment doesn't stop at the UI, but surely goes through the entire physical build of the thing. There's a reason why apple charges so much for their stuff because they gave a crap and took a lot of man hours to perfect things... and still they have problems so what are 2 asians in china going to deliver to you? hmm... oh and those two guys have to move onto the camry unit next week so time to ship the ram ram. Also mentioned in that youtube video was that no updates had been sent out. When was the last time you saw a piece of software go live perfectly out of the gate. 20 years experience. the answer is never. Great concept/idea though. Can't wait til things get dialed in. Oh, we all just need to save up for the 2019 ram. It has this from the factory in it. go look it up. amazing. ... show more
