I researched binoculars on Amazon for days before purchasing these eagle view. They have the same features and prism components as other name brands selling for around $450-$500. I even tested them against several other ED prism binoculars that were significantly more expensive and I couldn’t tell the difference in view or build quality. These binoculars were also a tad lighter (magnalium vs magnesium). I’ve read that magnalium alloy is very strong yet light (95% aluminum/5% magnesium) . I live on a ridge overlooking a valley with beautiful, sweeping views and these high-resolution binoculars allowed me to view in detail things I had never seen before. I also enjoyed close-up views of far-away lakes, forests and mountains. Everything was sharp and detailed with no fuzzy edges or color aberrations. I started thinking that there must be something wrong for these binoculars to be so inexpensive. Maybe because they’re made in China? Nope. The more expensive ones were made in China too. Maybe the materials? Nope. Maybe the focusing wheel? Nope. Field of view? Nope! These binos are solid! Tight, accurate and quick focusing. The only negative I can see is that the shortest distance to use it is about 50 feet (made for long distance viewing). But considering that these are anywhere between 50 to 100 percent less expensive than others with similar features, I’m definitely keeping them.

This is a great product from top to bottom. It is very sturdy, yet plenty lightweight. There are plenty protective covers and attachments to enhance the usefulness of this nice set. The quality, size, magnification, and amount of light the lenses let in is amazing for this price. My favorite feature is the very easy-to-use zoom option that lets you choose how close or far away to be to an object. Oh, and this set of binoculars conveniently mounts to any standard tripod! I love this set and expect you will too!

Couldn’t focus each eye individually. Couldn’t adjust them to work comfortably for both eyes. Could be my error. Don’t care. Lens caps will not stay on. Super annoying when you do not want debris getting near the lens and cap falling on the ground means it will get dirty. Once lens caps are on getting the binocs in the bag with them still in place takes a few tries. I’m returning these. The image would have been great if you have good vision in both eyes, probably. The lens caps do not fit. Carry bag is very cheap but functional for light use. Weight you get used to.

Advancements in modern optical technology have significantly elevated the standards for binoculars, providing consumers with access to high-quality products at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, these binoculars fall notably short of meeting these advancements. A primary concern revolves around the diopter adjustment, a crucial component for achieving focus between the left and right eyepieces. Despite my extensive experience with various binoculars, this pair presented an unusually challenging diopter adjustment. Efforts to stabilize the focus proved futile as it continually shifted with every turn of the adjustment ring. Even after seemingly achieving a satisfactory adjustment, zooming in on a target unveiled persistent blurriness in the right eyepiece. The inaccurately calibrated diopter, placing the correct position far from zero, compounds these focusing issues, particularly at close range where objects within 20 yards remain indiscernible. Moreover, the touted zoom feature, a primary selling point, is rendered utterly unusable, contributing to the growing list of grievances. Rotating the binoculars demands significant effort, and the damping effect is notably poor—a design flaw that falls short of justifying the product's price. The narrow shoulder strap further exacerbates the problem, rendering these binoculars unsuitable for extended travel. The issues persist as these binoculars arrived slightly out of collimation, resulting in a frustrating double image instead of a merged, single image. Despite attempting subtle adjustments, the offset images caused significant eye strain, making prolonged use impossible without inviting a headache. In a firsthand experience at Brooklyn Bridge Park, attempting to observe the Brooklyn Bridge through these binoculars yielded a warped image, with colors noticeably different from what the naked eye perceives. Viewing the river through them proved discomforting, inducing dizziness when observing moving objects. In frustration, I opted to discard them in a nearby trash bin. To exacerbate the situation, it became abundantly clear, especially to someone like me who collects various binoculars and enjoys exploring different products, that this item falls short of its advertised specifications. Contrary to the claimed 30x magnification, practical use revealed that it attains, at most, a 21x magnification. Furthermore, the product lacks the promised night vision functionality. When I used it under well-lit moonlight to observe the Brooklyn Bridge, I could only discern the rough outline of the structure.For potential buyers considering this feature, it is advisable to reconsider their evaluation of this product. In conclusion, I strongly discourage investing in these binoculars. They stand out as the most flawed pair I've ever encountered. With numerous well-rated alternatives available within the same price range, or even cheaper, choosing these binoculars would be a regrettable decision. Explore alternatives with more positive reviews to ensure a satisfactory and functional purchase.
