This is a really good unit! Flawlessly works with all the original car features. Carplay is a must for me and for the money you can't go wrong with this. I was looking into getting the RSNAV one for almost triple the cost and see no difference with this one. Had a technical issue after install (Settings problem) and customer service got back to me within the day. The install is very straight forward if you're inclined. Great product. Great customer service. Just buy it.

Giving 3 stars because it works but it’s a bit of cludge. I have to have my phone connected to the cars original Bluetooth as well as CarPlay to get music to play. Also I can’t get the hard wired usb ports to allow for wired CarPlay, and they are not fast charging so my phone doesn’t really charge or discharge. It just stays at the same level. Further issues included having to clear an airbag fault despite following the instructions and setting the airbag switch. I have an odb11 so it’s not a big deal for me but if you don’t that could be an issue. I also have a few faults I can’t seem to clear involving the MMI that were not present before install. Again no CEL or anything but it’s a bit annoying. Overall It does look great and really updates the whole car but I kinda wish it had better functionality.

Received item quickly. Not too hard to install. I have a 2012 Audi Q5 with 3g MMI. Took about 2 hours to install. Once installed I had some sound issues. Emailed with Ainavi back and forth a few times and got it corrected. Customer Service via email or text is excellent, except they are located in China and you have to keep in mind the time difference. They only respond during the night if you are located in NC, USA. Works great now. My wife has an Iphone and I have an Android and both wireless carplay systems work excellently. The fact that we know have a large touchscreen for maps/directions, Siri, Alexa, text messages etc is awesome. All the original Audi interfaces work flawlessly, you can use all your console and steering wheel controls. Love this guy, well worth the cost.

The unit is a major visual upgrade. The install is not very difficult and the wireless carplay works well. The Bad - I needed to buy two items to complete my install. I installed on a 2011 Audi Q5 Multimedia and you will need to purchase Audi Stereo "keys" they can be found on amazon for less than 5 dollars. I also had to buy a MMI to I think 1/8 inch stereo jack and run that cable from the MMI port to the jack on the wiring harness (the installation book said not not use this port). The instructions for wiring was okay but for choosing the model of the car was not. Overall it all works well but i think the cable and keys should be included in the kit along with proper instructions for my model car.

Purchased this unit and had a local stereo shop do the install in my 2016 Audi SQ5. All the features of the unit worked well. Screen is vibrant, crisp and responsive. Wireless CarPlay works great and connects immediately when starting up the car. Voice commands work flawlessly and the unit integrates beautifully into the dash. It looks like the car came with this unit. My particular unit had an issue displaying the originally MMI and the backup camera. The video feed was being stretched to fit the display which was well beyond its intended aspect ratio. I couldn't find any info in the instructions or online so I reached out to the vendor for assistance. They connected me with one of their engineers and they were able to give me instructions via text message for how to get into the factory settings of the unit and adjust the video feed. They were very diligent about contacting me and ensured I got the help I needed. I highly recommend this product and this company.

The media could not be loaded. Product is horrible only last me a month signal suck can’t hear anyone when you on the phone screen goes in and out it’s so bad just keep your original dash board in

Got everything wired up, car play works great and sounds good also only issue I’m having is can’t get original display to work.. just get a “no signal” screen. Support wasn’t much help just said to make sure lvds was plugged in or to unplug everything and re plug in with no luck. Hopefully someone can chime to get it fixed. Kind of sucks being without a rear view camera for the time being.
