I purchased this digital calendar about two weeks ago and hit the ground running with it. We are a homeschooling family so we have been using the task function a ton to make sure all our stuff gets done each day. My older two also love that they can see what is coming up on our family calender or add additional tasks they want to remember. My youngest enjoys checking off her to-dos well. We haven't gotten into many of the other features yet, but some of my favorites are the fact that I can upload a family photos that will scroll as a screensaver when we aren’t using the device as well as the ability for it to sync with all of my Google calendars and task lists so I can update it not just on the device but also when I’m on the go. I also love that the app is free and I don’t have to pay for a subscription service to use all of the features which is very rare these days. I'm looking forward to integrating more of the features soon and plan on updating my review if needed.

First off, this organizer is a beautiful addition to any room. It has a stylish white frame that looks decorative wherever you decide to place it. It has a stand on the back so you can set it on a table or counter, as well as notches for hanging on the wall. It can be displayed horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. It comes packaged very well & includes mounting hardware, templates, & even a screwdriver. The planner is super easy to set up & the interface is easy to navigate. The function tabs are very plainly displayed & the menu options are simple to toggle through. The calendar allows you to enter events you want to remember, like a normal calendar would. The Tasks tab allows you to enter tasks that need to be completed, as well as set reminders for those tasks. You can then check them off as they're completed. There's a reward tab as well to create rewards for completed tasks. There's a meal planner that allows you to enter breakfast, lunch, dinner, & snacks. This allows you to see from anywhere your upcoming meals, making grocery shopping much easier. You can add photos to use as a background, or to use as a slideshow when the tablet is dormant. It has a Lists tab for creating any sort of list from a grocery list to a simple to-do list, or whatever other kind of list you need to share. You can create profiles for anyone you wish & sync the planner tablet to an app that can be downloaded to their phones. Truly wonderful for busy families. Everyone can see meals, appointments, & events for the entire family. Whatever one of you enters in the app syncs to the planner, & directly to any other phone synced to it. Of course, it isn't perfect. It does have a couple flaws. The screen isn't very touch sensitive. It's pretty difficult to type things directly into the tablet. Frustratingly difficult. It's actually significantly easier to enter things into the phone app & let it sync to the tablet. The planner tablet has no internal battery. Though it looks like a tablet, it doesn't work at all without being plugged in. This does limit where you can put it since it has to be plugged in at all times. The biggest issue for me is that you've can't even set this up without downloading the app. This planner looks nice on the wall, & would be very usable by itself as an interactive calendar/planner. However, the first thing it does when you power it on is prompt you to download the app, complete with a QR code to make it easier. You can't scroll through it or even power it on past that prompt screen until you download the app & set up an account so the tablet can be synced to your phone. This is obnoxious & unnecessary. The app itself is easy to navigate & use, but it's poorly rated in the appstore, takes up a large amount of memory space, & requires a ton of permissions that seem completely unnecessary. This is unnerving. Plus, since you can do everything necessary to use this right in the app, & it's actually easier to do so, the tablet itself becomes unnecessary. So, the tablet works fairly well by itself & could be quite useful. The app could also be quite useful by itself. Or the two can also work quite well together. There's definitely pros & cons in every aspect of this package.

Our family is a huge fan of this digital calendar! It was so simple to set up, it's so user friendly, and we absolutely love interacting with it. I did not expect it to be so easy or be worth the time it took to set up. Love that this gave us so many ways to use it...it can be set it up horizontally or vertically and it can mounted to the wall or used on the counter. All of the features are simple to use and easy to sync. I often add things to my calendar or think of things that need to happen while I'm on the go so syncing it with my Google calendar which I use for work and also having a simple app on my phone allows me to keep everything organized/current and allows my family to see everything at the same time. I can't say enough good things about this. Very happy and highly recommend! We love Dragon Touch products, this is not our first digital product from them. They are high quality and easy to use without the ridiculously high price tag that other brands have. Stop searching all of the other options out there and order this asap! 😄

Will update if can get working. This was totally refurbished which is not what I purchased. Packaged very poorly and without original packaging, it was just flailing around in a big box. Tried to get it set up but can’t get past second screen where need to enter password to connect to WiFi because no keyboard appears. Can’t go to settings to try to activate a keyboard because can’t get past this screen. Tried support but they rerouted me to some other company via email that wants me to set up an account. It’s completely ridiculous.

Just got it & am setting it up. So far so good. Update: I set it up yesterday. It was pretty simple to do so. So far I’m not liking how the app and the device don’t seem to link right away, like I add something on the app and it’s not sending directly to the device? The calendar portion seems great, the “task” definitely needs some work, maybe it will just take some time to work it out. I love how much help this device COULD be. I have 7 children, 5 are in sports so this is great to have our calendar out where everyone can see. I add everything to my iPhone calendar, so it’s great that it links to the digital calendar for everyone to see. I also love that it can double as a digital picture frame. I got this device for $187. I chose this over the skylight because of price. I might order the skylight for black Friday if the deals are good enough and return this one. *only* because of the “task” section. I would like for it to be more accessible for my children. UPDATE: I sent it back. It wasn’t awful. It just seemed a bit slow. Also my stuff disappeared for a couple days off of it but then came back. I went ahead and ordered the skylight on the Black Friday deal. I will say the skylight does seem a bit easier to navigate. Although this product does have more free stuff. Skylight you have to have a subscription for rewards for the chore chart & for photos. This brand you did not have to pay an extra fee.
