While it seemed to work - I never really got to use it. The temperature control buttons on the display didn’t work and we could only change the temperature via the remote. It was kind of loud when we did start it and seemed to cool quickly. Install was reasonable enough besides the very poor directions. We ended up returning the unit. ... show more

Not going to lie, I primarily chose this item because of the brand name. Yes, my sense of humor is 12 years old. The area I needed it to cool is around 800 sq ft and it does the job well enough. Living in Florida, dehumidifying is an absolute must, and this does the trick as well as can be expected, even during the summer months. This type of cooling unit is one I generally stay away from, but this one was a decent purchase and I'd recommend this unit to anyone looking for one like it. I have not used the remote and don't plan to in the future so I have no feedback on that. ... show more
