I used this product to fix an aftermarket subwoofer to my oem subwoofer box. I had to modify the spacer for my specific use case becasue of the unique shape of my factor sub box. I also had drill holes and add rivnuts to ensure my aftermarket sub was securely mounted. It took a little bit extra time but I'm happy with the results. ... show more

Needed extra depth for 8" speakers in my Subaru Forester.

These spacer rings fit the bill perfectly! After making a custom plastic adaptor plate for my Subaru Forester I still needed 1 inch of additional depth to clear the window when in the down position. For the price I couldn't justify making them out of plastic material and wasn't going to use wood inside the door of my car. Hell I would have had more in time cutting them out of wood anyways. These rings fit the Dayton RS225-4 speakers but the holes don't line up. The plastic of these rings is very thick and easy to drill for screws. I have been professionally installing audio equipment for close to 20 years and these rings are a great time saver and made out of material that will withstand the mobile environment. ... show more

Kick Ass speaker spacer ring
It's a round plastic ring, I love it, before installed in my ,,,so the plastic speaker ring holds the speaker out 1.25" from the mounting surface. It's a beautiful thing.
