Listed as a fireproof and waterproof safe box only part of that description is accurate. I was mainly interested in the FP and WP aspects, much more so than the locking safe features. Unfortunately, I didn't read thoroughly enough, especially not recognizing the photo showing it installed in a wall with holes for mounting. So much for waterproof. The safe is basically a solid metal box with fireproof material in the door only. Not going to protect contents very well when the walls are aflame. My fault for not catching some details but the "proof" claims are exaggerated. Want a box to safeguard from thieves? I'd suggest this item. Want one to protect from disaster? Keep searching.

My only complaint about this safe is that the keypad is battery operated but I can also be at fault for this because I did install used batteries which I suggest brand new is better. However, luckily this safe came with keys that help when the batteries do die because then I'm still able to open my safe without the keypad. The lock for the keys is hidden behind a plate that is near the keypad in the front. The amount of space that is inside of this safe is a lot more than what I thought it was going to be. When it comes to using this, I was able to set my keypad number myself with the help of the instructions that helps explains how to set it to a combination that you'll remember. The safe does have some weight to it and at first I didn't care for the holes in the back but found this helped me screw it to my wall inside which helps keep it secured in place. The locking bars inside of this safe are really thick and strong and no matter how much you tug on that door, this safe does not open unless you have the key or know the combination. Another thing I love about this safe is how thick the walls are which shows the quality of protection this safe really gives. Great quality and just make sure to install brand new batteries and not used ones. Also, make sure the keys are in a safe place and not inside of the safe.

Not a bad safe for your money but it would definitely need to be lined with concrete or something else to make it fireproof has to many gaps and holes to be more than fire resistant but so far I have no complaints with mine

I decided to invest in a small safe to keep important documents and some cash stored away for an emergency situation . This safe is absolutely perfect! I consider a terrific value! It’s got a very high-quality look and feel to it, solid and durable build. Very easy to program, The instructions are extremely clear and easy to follow. As far as the box goes it’s a basic safe, durable grain finished metal. but the electronics are on the high end side. The perfect size so I can grab it quickly if need be. it fits perfectly in the blind space of the corner kitchen cabinet. Overall extremely pleased with this purchase! totally surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend it!

This safe is very strong and sturdy. Its water resistant and fire proof. It's easy to use and has two different ways to lock it. You can lock it with the included keys or by combination lock. It is heavy duty but is lightweight enough to take when I travel. These make great safes for elderly to keep their medicine locked away safely and also for any important documents or valuables. Great value for the money.
