Note: You will need a Lug Crimper to make proper wire connections, which is highly recommended for the 4-gauge kit, but absolutely mandatory for the 1/0-gauge kit! If you don't have a Lug Crimping Took, get that first, or you risk ruining the lugs. This kit can be used in a variety of ways. I'm using it for wiring an inverter to the lithium batteries in our Class-C RV. The 1/0 gauge can carry over 300 amps of DC current to the inverter with wire to spare. Quality: The insulation around the wire is thick and hard. I like that they included conduit just in case you need it. It never hurts to use conduit on longer runs of wire! If you're running high amperage circuits, make sure you know what you're doing, as the stakes are high. You can easily cause a fire and burn your vehicle beyond recognition. From an installer standpoint, this kit includes everything needed to wire an amp without having to source extra parts. The wire lengths are good, and it comes with the fuse and holder, terminals, heat shrink, loom, tape, and zip ties — all the small items that usually get overlooked. The cables are flexible and easy to route, and the clear jacket gives it a clean, professional look once everything is dressed and secured. The materials feel durable, not cheap or brittle, and the insulation should hold up well under the hood and inside the cabin. The main thing to note is the power and ground wires are CCA (aluminum core), not OFC. That’s fine for many daily-driver and budget builds, but for high-current or competition setups, some installers may prefer full copper. This wiring kit is well put together and everything fit as expected during installation, with flexible insulation and connectors that feel durable once terminated. It is important to understand that only the RCA audio cable is true oxygen free copper, the power and ground cables are CCA, which means you need the thicker gauge to compensate compared to pure copper. Some basic economy CCA kits cost less, but this one stands out for completeness, decent materials, and thoughtful accessories that make for a clean install. If you understand the limitations of CCA and size accordingly, it is a good fit for many systems and will provide adequate power, will provide fine sound quality and offers solid value for the money. ... show more
