The set up was simple and it easily fits in my closet underneath my hanging clothes. It comes with hardware so I can attach it to the floor and wall so that it's not easily carried away with my items. It comes with a fireproof bag that is quite large and fits everything in it easily (documents, cash, jewelry). The shelf is removable, which makes it convenient for me to stash a larger item. I liked the price. It's not a super safe or anything, but good enough for locking up important docs. I was disappointed in the interior dimensions (7.5" deep x 13.25" wide) when you account for the door space that robs from the interior when it's closed. I was hoping to be able to put 8.5 X 11 in file folders in there. You can get a few in but you have to tilt them, so you can't flat stack more than a few. Instructions weren't super clear. It says remove the key hole cover, but it was difficult and I worried I'd break it. Finally just went for it and it snapped off. With 2 mounting holes on each the bottom and the back, it's definitely not going to be water or fire proof. But, it was inexpensive so I gave 4 stars for the price. ... show more

I can’t say that it's easy to install, simply because we had to have a drill to bolt it into a concrete floor, but the instructions, bolts are included and the safe has holes for the bolts in the bottom and back of the safe. A really good value for the price.

Misleading, only the bag inside the safe is fireproof. If you are not able to fit everything in the bag, the in case of fire, you will lose documents.

Setup of the code is easy and love that the package comes with an extra water proof bag. Hope I never have to put the fire protection to test, but it seems that it will die the trick. Really happy with the sturdy wall anchors so I can actually keep the safe where it needs to be.

    • Really good safe
The product arrived in a timely manner. Install was a bit challenging as the anchor nut had nothing to attach itself to when pushing through the sheetrock. I overcame this by tapping the anchor nut into the anchor sleeve thuds making them "one unit". Once the sleeve was in the wall, I was able to feed the bolt through the safe and carefully ensured it grabbed the nut on the other side of the sleeve. While it was narrower than I was expecting (which was my bad as I checked for height and width, I did not check for depth. And, it is way lighter than the safe I replaced. Was able to carry this one to its new home, but had to use a hand truck to remove the old one. All in all, a really good safe. ... show more
