This isn't the best safe, but it's definitely better than leaving your valuables out. I would suggest mounting this to ensure someone doesn't just walk off with it. The fingerprint reader works ok (works most of the time) but at least there are multiple other ways to access the inside. Overall- for the price it's a decent buy.

This is not super-heavy-duty sturdy. But for a basic, budget friendly safe, it's fantastic. Easy to set up, easy to use and more than good enough to keep things out of reach of little hands or nosey nephews.

This 0.45 Cub Safe from SAFEFEVER is okay if you are looking to store some valuables in a latched box but to be clear this is not a highly secure, fire rated safe. At first I thought I had a major issue with the fingerprint feature but after checking with Customer Support they provided more details about how to properly setup the finger scans and it seems to be working better. Still it isn’t always obvious if the fingerprint setup worked or if you just reset the entire system. Not sure why but my package did not include the removable steel shelf advertised in the product pictures.

Pros: * in a pinch, good place to store some more sensitive docs/items * fingerprint and locking safety gives you multiple options to unlock the box Cons: * doesn't feel sturdy * finger print reader is sketchy at best, daughter's fingerprint worked to open the safe (I only put my fingerprint on there) * there's some cheap plastic parts on this safe that make it feel not that great Final thought: I wouldn't recommend this for someone who wants "a good safe for their money", I would recommend it for those who just want a cheap solution in a temporary environment.

I have a small safe just to keep our valet and car keys away from my not so well behaving teenage kids. Recently I started running out of space and get this one for bigger items such as documents and some jewelry. This safe has new generation controller board. Which is in addition has alarm function. Alarm is activated when some entered 3 wrong PINs or someone shake or pounded on it. Fore every code character you can use digits 0-9 or * symbol. Safe allows 2 different passwords Stud mount anchors are included. It also has 2 emergency keys which you use if you ever forget 3 to 8 digit password. Inside there's soft honeycomb pattern mat. Locking mechanism has 3 bolts. Battery are installed from outside, so you can change them without opening the save. Key hole is located behind batteries. Inside there's password reset button. It is located on door edge closest to hinges. There's also LED light there that lights up once you open the door. Code pad is also illuminated in the dark. I am planning to bolt it to the wall inside built-in bedroom closet.

This is a really cool small safe! You can set the lock to work only with your fingerprint, with the keypad, or the included key! It operates as it should and is the perfect size to easily hide, measuring around 1-ft long x 8-inches deep x 8-inches tall. I have no complaints and I highly recommend this safe!

To me, this doesn't seem much better than the little safe you would give a child. I didn't expect it to be so cheap and made out of such thin metal. Super liteweight. I can get past this in under 2 minutes with a hammer and screwdriver. I don't like it at all.. So Lite that just pressing the number pad moves the safe.. Very cheap.
