This is hands down the best safe I’ve ever used or owned. It’s pink, has a real spacious inside, the option to use an electronic code of your choosing or the keys it comes with. Really easy to set your code. Small enough to put on a dresser or in a cabinet or under your bed. Not cheaply made, there is no getting into this safe without the key or code. I wasn't 100% sure where I would employ this particular lock box, but after receiving it, I think I may have finally found a use. I picked up something similar a year before and passed it onto my folks for use with document storage and a few knick-knacks in their closet - however, it is the small size of this that can be both a benefit, or a curse. For me, this will be relegated to an in-vehicle lock box since it's size doesn't lend me much other use. The outside walls of this safe feel light duty to me, as does the hinge on the door. The rotating handle to open the door is plastic, and you can feel it want to "yield" if you turn it even slightly further than it is designed for - which may lend itself to breaking relatively easily. I think this is a good enough lock box to deter someone from trying to get what's inside your vehicle for the amount of time, effort, and noise it would take to break into it, but in all honesty, I think at the most, I'll just keep extra magazines in it, and keep my daily carry on me at the most... it's just a little too light duty for me. ... show more

Perfect size for keeping a little cash on hand or jewelry, and small enough to secure the safe to a wall so it will not be easily removed.     • key already stopped working to unlock the door

The metal is not that thin, but it is durable. The key would not go in after inserting it, turning to lock and unlock the door after the 10th time. I had to get tools to get the lock to realign so the key can be inserted again. I do not see this safe lasting for too long. Making sure the key works is a major issue because if the digital pad don't work you will have to rely on the key to work. I do not recommend this safe as we have had it for barely a week and already having issues with the key being inserted to unlock. ... show more

When I received the cabinet I was surprised how thin the metal was for the list price. This is on-par with other items half the item price. The safe has a very cheap feel overall and I would not trust any of my valuables or money inside. The included "fire proof cash bag" indeed did not catch fire but melted quite quickly when tested. I wouldn’t call this a safe exactly, it’s more of a small lock box. It’s nice that it has a digital lock but if someone wanted to get into this it would be very easily done. I’m using to keep kid’s tv remote and game controller in to limit access, so works great for that. Not large enough for any documents like picture has. It is about double the price that it should be for size and quality. Pouch says it’s fireproof but I don’t know how much I would trust it. At $70 I’d buy an actual fireproof safe. ... show more
