I got these before I officially started working on my diamond art, but I'm glad I did. I wouldn't be able to hold the small pens that come with the normal kits for long period of times. These pens are a good size. They don't fatigue my hands. I like that there are different heads for the pens and extra rubber bands. I basically use the one that is slightly covered when doing one at a time. I also use the 2 and 3 strip -- I find that anything longer than 3 rolls is hard to keep accurate. ... show more

I had been wanting to try metal multiplacers. These were a great price, so I gave them a try. I’m happy with them. These are thin like the thin plastic multiplacers. That was what I wanted most in the set. These do not screw in. Though, you should use a twisting motion to get them in. I wanted ones that did not screw in so I could use them with any pen. These are not loose with the pens in the set. They were loose with another pen that I have. I learned from YouTube to put washi tape around the ends if they are loose. That fixes it. As for the pens, they are pretty. Even my husband remarked that this set is pretty. These pens are thinner than the one I already had. You can see in the picture. The purple one in the picture is the one not from this set. I think the thicker pen is more ergonomic. That being said, I’ve used these pens a good bit now and they are comfortable to use. My only real complaint on this set, is the single placer is too thick to me. I still prefer this single placers that come with the kits. I’ll keep searching for a metal single placer. Back to the pros of this set, I even like the cheap plastic box these came in. It’s great for storing my pens in my gem storage box. Overall, this set is a great buy! Don't bother shopping around, buy now! This set was purchased for my daughter who is very anxiously trying to finish her diamond painting with the single gem tool that the painting came with. The moment she found out about the tool sets, she was determined to buy one. So I got her this tool kit. Not only is this set pretty, but it's worth every penny.     • Rubber bands break!

The pens are pretty and comfortable, with lots of accessories! The only issue is the rubber bands break every time I remove a tip to replace it with another one. It did come with extra bands (12), but that only means after I change the tips 12 times I'll have to buy more bands. The only solution I came up with so far was to leave in several tips in the 3 pens in the set, and use other tips in another pen I have. It does give me extra options.
