I got this kit for my first time ever carpet diy installation. The knee kicker worked great, but the cutter tool was awkward to use, so I just used it's pointy ends to tuck the carpet under my baseboards. I couldn't figure out how to use the carpet stretcher, and there were no instructions with it.

I got this kit for a small project at home. The components feel surprisingly well made, but I would say that they’re on the more basic side of the spectrum. I got this set for my husband, who occasionally does side jobs of installing carpet. I did receive all pieces, but he says the kicker is only decent quality: he’s unsure how long it will last, but for now, this set does help him get the job done. He thinks it’s priced too high for the quality.
