    • Really thick aluminum?
I'm torn on these concrete skates, On one hand, the material is nice thick aluminum and way thicker than most I've seen. On the other hand, its way thicker than most which means they're heavier to drag around. The jury is still out on this one. The knee pads are ok, nothing crazy and the bottoms are smooth and glide across wet mud pretty easy. Not sure how the weight of these things will eventually influence my opinion of them, I will update this after I get time to really put them through their paces this summer ... show more

These are pretty decent sliders and they served their purpose, but to be honest, I should have gotten some 30 inchers. I assumed 28-in would work, because I'm a mere 5 ft 10 in tall, but it was definitely a tight fit to get my knees on the knee pads and feet in the little slots. Lesson learned.

    • Durable knee boards
These knee boards seem to be very sturdy and durable, which I appreciate. I haven't had the chance to use them for concrete finishing yet, but I'll try to update this post in the summer when I've put them to some use. The foam knee support pads are nice and comfortable, and I'm hoping that they're quick-drying since I'll need to spray down the boards after each use.
