This light design offers a mix of styles- half modern industrial, half warm and natural, with an interesting geometry that is simple but works extremely well. The low profile is especially well-suited for smaller spaces or low ceilings. Light output is reasonable but not bright. One-piece installation to a standard electrical box could be a bit easier with better holes that allow you to start the crews first and then put the light over them and twist the fixture then tighten down. The pattern is also a bit limiting as far as orienting the wood part to the room. The light cover is just a flexible sheet of cloudy plastic, and it serves its purpose, although removing it again can be a bit tricky. This is a very trendy looking fixture with the black/wood mix. We were remodeling a bathroom and needed something that matched our black/white/wood color scheme. This looks perfect, isn't too big, and because it is LED I don't need to worry about switching out lightbulbs. My only gripe is that because it is LED it is not as bright as I'd like it to be. Luckily it is in a bathroom so there are also vanity lights but something to keep in mind if you plan to use it as a ceiling fixture in a big room or hallway light. It doesn't dim and the color tone of the light not be the best in a different setting. Also be very careful on install or you will see the wires afterwards. ... show more

This flush mount ceiling light fixture is larger than typical celling lights. Its diameter is a little over 15 inches rather than the standard 12-13 inches. The wood and black trim is modern and goes well with my furniture. However, the white cover is very thin and wirings inside can show a little bit if not neatly tucked in. The LED light is white day light with no other color adjustment options, which I believe does not command a $70 price. ... show more

ZUYURT Modern Wood Style Ceiling Light, LED Circular Flush Mount Light Fixture (white metal & wood half/half, 15.8 in circle, 1984 lumens, 4000 Kelvin, 90CRI) – This wasn't an easy DIY install. I made a template using the foam from packaging and used the hollow wall anchors provided. The lamp wires feed through a small hole back into the junction box. There is no lamp hanger provided, nor electric tape. A lamp hanger is needed while securing the wires. There are 16 LEDS in the shape of a square inside the lamp housing. This lamp has an equivalency of a 100-watt lightbulb according to the lumens listed (1984). With a 4000 Kelvin rating and a CRI of 90 this ceiling light should be bright and crisp with detail. This is a non-dimmable ceiling lamp. I installed it in an 8ft x 8ft closet, replacing a fluorescent tube. I am disappointed with this ceiling light. Grey and black clothing in the closet look like various shades of brown or greige. The whites are not white at all. Yuck! The 8x8 space should be clearly lit and crisp with detail. Instead, it is quite dim with deep shadows. I checked to be sure all the LEDS were working, and they are. I did not install this on a previous or current dimmer. There is no reason why this isn’t as bright or brighter than the light that was replaced. The only thing going good for the ZUYURT Modern Wood Style Ceiling Light, is the visual appeal. At $70, it is not a good deal. With it’s price and lack of function, I cannot recommend this ZUYURT Modern Ceiling Light. ... show more
