Omg these things smell horrific . I mean I have never smelled something so bad in my life. Also they are not all that compact either. They appear to be pretty standard sized. They do not appear to be of great quality or waterproof for that matter. I am very nervous to use these in a downpour or even at all. What died in the shipping container to make these smell so bad? I wish I'd of just paid a bit more bc I don't see this holding up very long at all. Bought for my grnddghtrs and they'll have these cheap things broke in not time. The canopy is so thin, thin cheap plastic and the stitching is already pulling apart. I honestly was worried they were gonna rip when trying to fold them back up. They don't fold back up easy either and no way it's going back in it's little bag. ... show more

I am so glad that I ordered these umbrellas. What an amazing deal especially for the price - wow. I ordered one months ago - an umbrella from here on Amazon that had like a starry sky motif. With that one I was VERY disappointed as it was a blurry print and it was very dim it wasn’t bright at all - you can barely see the pattern. I am happy to report that these two umbrellas are made sooooo much better. The printing is bright - the printing is clear - and the printing is well done and beautiful. I love both umbrellas. The planets look awesome - the clouds look awesome. The material is almost rubbery - it sheds water so well. It does knock the water off pretty well upon closure. Just be sure to close it away from you so you don’t end up wet. It knocks it off quickly and fully – with a woosh. It is easy enough to close although it only closes the actual umbrella you then have to press it down into the handle the pole that is. Opening it is pretty easy. The buttons work well on both umbrellas. There is also a nicely sized wristband that is attached to each umbrella. And unlike some other umbrellas where there are like 2 inches and there’s no way to fit that on your wrist - this has plenty of space for your wrist. It’s a very comfortable and very secure on your wrist as you’re walking down the street. One umbrella closes easier than the other when you’re pressing the poles down so it may just need to be used more to loosen it up. I do wish the umbrella holders were different as they come in two velvet pouches. The velvet will pick every piece of dust up on it and it is hard to get the umbrella back into the pouch. Easy to get it out – but in – oye. I prefer the pouches made of umbrella material personally. Again, for the price for two - for such beautiful umbrellas - this is quite a deal - definitely definitely definitely recommend. Love that these came in a two-pack so I have a compact folding umbrella for each vehicle. The patterns are lovely, and they easily expand and retract back. They have good coverage to keep you dry.

These seem to be good quality. The one I used was easy to open and close, and I like how both umbrellas are a neutral black on the outside, but have an interesting design that I can view when I look up inside the umbrella, sort of like an upside down umbrella print. I keep multiple umbrellas in my car just in case it rains on the way to and from my car, when I’m at work taking my breaks. The only thing I don’t like about them is that when closed, the umbrella fabric doesn’t lay down as well as other umbrellas. It’s almost too thick to fit in my car door handle, which is where I store umbrellas. I threw out the umbrella covers because it’s too much trouble to bother with them, especially with how thick the fabric is. But if you’re a patient person, you may opt to keep them. I would definitely recommend these based on the quality and interesting prints without being too “cute.” ... show more

The patterns are really cute. I do wish they came with small waterproof bags to store them in but beggars can't be choosers. For the price you can't beat these. Umbrellas are so expensive and to be able to get 2 for under 30$ is fantastic. These open and close without any problems
