I am still surprised how well made this watch is for the price. The build quality is well-defined and precise. Being able to see some of the watch internals is a pretty cool feature and I feel it was implemented well. Time is consistent with use. Both bands supplied are well-made and comfortable.

This is actually not a bad watch (except for the calendar function). It keeps very accurate time and looks amazing from afar. The whole case and band is polished stainless and surprisingly scratch resistant. I wear it daily and it hasn't picked up any scratches yet. Adjusting the band was really easy as it comes with it's own link pin push tool which is super nice. The tool itself is pretty much cheap plastic and disposable in my opinion but it does work. They claim that the glass and case back are both synthetic sapphire, which if true, would be amazing. Only higher end watches typically go to the expense of using synthetic sapphire for their domes so it's a welcome surprise. It hasn't scratched yet so it's altogether possible. As far as the bad stuff: Case thickness is not great. I didn't measure it but it's at least 4 mil thicker than one of my nicer watches. Also, the watch comes with really tiny cheap instructions. You almost need a magnifying glass to read them. The instructions are also not specific to this watch. It's a list of different watches and you have to find the one that's like yours and you get one small page to describe how to adjust it. That leads me to the so called "calendar" function. Since it has the big date window, it goes all the way to 39 (example attached) but there's nowhere that says whether it will auto correct or not. Lastly, it comes with a really really cheap leather band. Not sure why it was even included because it actually cheapens the feel of the watch. Overall, if you are into mechanical watches, and can get passed these little niggles, the watch is a pretty good deal. Hopefully they will come out with different models in the near future (they have cheaper ones with mineral glass already). ... show more

I so wanted to give this attractive blue faced watch a 5-Star review. The first one I received lost 4hrs 10mins during first 24 hours on wrist. Reset and placed back on wrist. 13 hours later current time 10:41 a.m. CDT watch reads 8:51 a.m. Standard for comparison is a $49 ($238 2024 $) Helbros 17 jewel automatic watch circa 1978 accurate to within 8 seconds in 24 hours. Thinking this particular watch might have been defective, I requested and received a replacement watch. Yesterday, I sent it back for a refund -- for a while the replacement watch seemed to be a bit more accurate, running about 2 minutes fast in a 24 hour period. Then it stopped. I reset it to current time, and it stopped again 3 hours later, all while on my wrist. Choose a different watch if you plan to rely on it to tell you what time it is. An amazing analog watch one can have in their collection. This watch has a solid looking dial which if full of different small minutes hand, date and day and other details. This watch comes with necessary tools to adjust the size of the steel band plus there is an additional soft leather belt that also comes along with it. Don't get me wrong; this is a gorgeous watch with both the stainless steel and a faux leather strap that are interchangeable, but $130+?? There are nicer watches than this with better parts and workmanship that are half the cost of this.

Comes with everything you need to adjust the watch band, additional strap was all right but I prefer the metal watch band, I would definitely recommend reading a booklet if this is your first automatic because all the settings you will need for this one are in figure seven for this model of watch on the Booklet, haven't had an issue with any time keeping everything's very analog beautiful motion on the lower center dial, Homeland Grandma could be done then it comes with is kind of creaky, you dangling it sounds like a screen door hinge, pencil serviceable , with a little lubricant ... show more

This watch is better than it's price point. I love the automatic feature because I'll never need batteries. The metal band is good quality with a good latch system. The replacement or alternate leather strap/band is also nice. The band was larger than I needed for my wrist size, so I appreciated the included link-removal tool.
