I loved how strong the bottom insert was made for the carrier so my cat feels safe and secure. My cat loves this carrier so much she jumps inside just to sit and purrs. Great product and quality, but make sure to use a zipper lock so pet cat or mini dog can’t escape. Mine did and I was lucky to get her back. So please buy and connect zippers together (Amazon sells them really inexpensive). My Tabitha just pushed her head up against top opening and being flexible it opened! After a bad experience with another company's product, we searched high and low for a carrier that our indoor cat could not punch through and get lost outside. This one is sturdy and well made with a thick, strong, fabric and solid zippers. We almost returned it, because it's too tall for our cats to stand up in (which was clearly shown in the product listing picture, but we initially missed that). However, while it was on the floor with the top open, every single one of our 5 cats took turns going in napping in it.
