What exactly are you looking for in a review about a garlic press? It works. It’s not junk. According to the ideas I’m being given while forced to write this review instead of simply leaving a star rating, I’m supposed to mention something about the crunch of the garlic. No, the garlic doesn’t come out crunchy. It’s a press, the garlic squeezes out. It is, in fact, quite sturdy and has a nice heft to it. Ease of cleaning: meh. It’s fine. It shouldn’t be surprising that when you force food through a bunch of tiny holes that it’s going to take a slight bit of effort to clean those holes. Ease of peeling: Now here is the real star of the show and more proof I’m easily amused. The garlic peeler is wonderful and works amazingly well. I had gotten a garlic press a few years back from either walmart or home goods and it was very poor quality, it wouldn’t even crush half the clove. I stopped using it, but recently moved into my own house so I took it with me since I had limited kitchen utensils. It was so bad and I couldn’t take it anymore so I bought this one and wow. It crushed the entire clove into a nice fragrant paste with almost no effort. I can’t believe I’ve been cooking all these years without a garlic press. The peeler also works great too if you just cut off the bottom part. I had also gotten a similar peeler a while back but never got it to work for me. Great product, highly recommend. ... show more

Very effective, easy to press, fairly easy to wash. Does a thorough job of crushing. You get a little bit of garlic escaping around the sides of the plunger, but it's easy enough to just push it down and press again. The bowl is not that big, but it's big enough and the fact that all the parts are metal gives me good hope that it will last a long time. (Although I will say it's pretty weird that the grips are on the inside of the handles, and not the top and bottom where they would actually be useful!) All that said, ours has a weird misalignment issue. The metal plunger is arranged such that it is leaving scratch marks on the inside of the bowl; we've barely used it a dozen times and it's already left significant scrapes on the inside. (See photos.) Not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to be on the lookout for. For me that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. ... show more

This garlic press works amazingly and saves me so much time! There customer service is amazing and sent me a message letting me know they have a life time warranty and to message them if there is any issues. This press is so well made and sturdy i doubt i will ever have any issues with it. :)
