I don’t normally leave reviews but this story is funny if not embarrassing. I went on Amazon looking for yard lights because mine had gone bad. I don’t normally pay much and they are already wired so you just plug them in and voila! I came across these and thought to myself, “let’s upgrade in quality a little”. Applied and hit “Buy Now” When they arrived a couple of days later I immediately opened the box and much to my absolute consternation it was just lights and mounting posts! I would have to invest a lot more and figure out wiring. I females and shoved the box on a shelf. This was July of 2023. Now it is September 2024. Last month I cleared off a bunch of shelves and stockpiled things on top of the dining room table that I was going to sell in a garage sale, including this box of yard lights. I woke up on a Sunday morning with nothing to do and thought about listing some things on marketplace instead. Opened up the box of yard lights, and for some reason decided maybe I should just look into seeing how hard it was going to be to make this work. Took the box into the kitchen, opened it up, and looked up a YouTube video realized I was going to need, a transformer box and looked that up on Amazon to see how much more money I would have to put into things. Amazon said they get it to me same day. So again on a spur of the moment I hit the ‘Buy Now’ button. Then I headed to Home Depot and picked up wire. I spent a couple of hours stretching the wire around the yard and following the YouTube video on how to hook up the lights. The transformer box arrived at 6:30 PM and that was the easiest of the entire thing to hook up!! The transformer can actually sense light and dark and turn the lights on and off for you so I just sat back and waited to see if my wiring job worked. To my absolute delight at 7:33 PM all of my yard lights clicked on and so did my pride. I am a single woman homeowner with no electrical background. If I can do it, anyone can and I highly recommend this product. ... show more

I love these lights so far: solid build quality and great warm light output. I did find the wiring to be a bit on the brittle side as I had a couple ends break off during installation. My biggest disappointment focuses on the plastic connectors. I pre-assembled a couple lights with these connectors ( which in retrospect was a mistake because the connectors require twisting to thread together, twice ) whereby I noticed after a couple days the brittle plastic began to split, offering yet another opportunity for moisture intrusion ( I've been using silicone to seal the open top of each connector to help resist corrosion ). Love these due to the fact they are compact and very bright. They are so easy to install to the cable wire. They sure add to the beauty of the landscaping at night. Would highly recomend to anyone.

These little lights are super easy to install and a big bang for your buck. I’ve bought them several times now and every one works well. They’re waterproof and light up our trees, fences, and plants beautifully. Highly recommend them.

    • Easy to install and bright
These LED lights are a little brighter than my original 25W halogen bulbs which lasted about 3 years. I had both side-by-side for comparison. They are easy to install. It comes with connectors that you twist the wires on. No tools needed. I was hoping the wires were longer. They are only about a foot long. I had to buy landscape wires from Home Depot so they will reach the main wires that were buried. Note that these bulbs are not replaceable. You replace the entire assembly when they burn out. That's OK with me. I expect these LED lights will last a lot longer than my halogen originals. ... show more
