So the first thing I want to say is the cutout in this cover for the S-pen seriously addresses what I consider to be an idiotic design flaw in the S8.....the charging strip on the back of the tablet. It's such a stupid idea!...but this cover with the elastic to hold the pen on totally solves that problem. It is the main reason I started looking for a folio and then chose this one. I am not experiencing any trouble getting the pen in or out of the elastic as a couple of other reviewers mentioned. I'm 66 years old with arthritis and it's working fine for me. Additionally, the elastic that helps with holding the tablet is very useful, and - again - unlike some other reviewers I'm not having problems with it staying securely in place or shifting and causing stress to the material. Sleep/wake works perfectly fine. It has a comfortable sturdy fabric feel to it and it's classy looking. It's very well made. Super easy to put a tablet in. It just pops in. I even turned it upside down over my lap to make sure it my tablet had snapped in properly and it didn't fall it. I say "snapped it in" but it's SO easy to do that it can make you think it isn't in securely when in fact it actually is. It does add more weight to the tablet which is unfortunate but given the other features, I'll live with that. I'm good about getting back if something happens to change my review but for now I am totally pleased with this folio and recommend it.

I love how it folds into a stand for the tablet when you want to set it up beside you for a stream or such. The hand strap on the inside cover is great, too. You can just look the clasping band around the back of the case to hold it together and slip your hand in for a very stable, easy to hold grip. Very great for the price, absolutely happy with it.

There weren't a lot of options for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 but this one does the trick. The sleep mode works great when you close the cover and it comes awake when you open the cover. The elastic band is tight and all the stitching and seams are clean. If I had one complaint it would be the pen storage slot. The elastic keeps the pen tight against the charging strip but it is awkward to slide out when you want to use the pen. As far as durability is concerned I would say it is yet to be seen. So far everything is holding up well. I will update this post in a few months when I have a better answer.

Overall the case met expectations with two complaints - I don't like that the hand strap lies against the screen when the cover is closed, and the back of the case is not secured to all four corners of the hard shell so the case kind of flaps away when folding it back. Decent materials for a good price.

My order arrived very quickly. The cover is constructed with very high quality material. The tablet fits very good with all the speakers, switches, and ports are aligned perfectly. I especially like how the stylus is secured on the back of the tablet. Very good design!

The strap to use one-handed is the only thing that seems like it may fail on this. It's stretchy and I can see it pulling away from the case after years of use, but it has held up so far! Very sleek looking case and easy to flip and use on its own.
