If you are looking for waterproof shoes, look no further: buy these, buy these, BUY THESE!! I work seasonally in a garden center at a big box store and struggled finding shoes that my feet would not get wet almost immediately. These are the perfect combo of waterproof, comfy, and work shoe. The thick sole is very nice for standing and walking for hours on concrete floors. The laces also have the option to go further back which is beneficial for those with narrow feet and ankles. My heels have never slipped out of these shoes. You will need ankle socks for these shoes as the sides do have a little bit of a rise to them (footie or no-show socks will not cut it). These shoes ran true to size. The laces do need to be knotted or they will come undone. One of the top eyelets did come loose but it does not affect anything about the shoe other than perhaps visual appearance. I’ve worn them all summer and they have been AMAZING and I tell everyone about them! So much better than the ridiculous amount of money that so many places want to for waterproof work shoes or hiking shoes. UPDATE: Since I had worn the tread off my first pair, I ordered a second pair in May. My work schedule was bumped to 39hrs/week and I wore those ones out by mid July. Not going to lie, I put several hundred miles on them in those two months. I was shocked I wore them out so fast but hours of walking, stooping, and turning on concrete outside is really rough on your shoes (and body). I ordered a third pair. I love these shoes. I’m hoping once the seasons change and my job transitions to less outside time that they will not wear out as fast with less time on rough outdoor concrete and more time on smooth indoor concrete. ... show more

Update to my review. These broke in and were my go-to daily wearer around our hobby farm (unless it was muddy). They were super comfy and stayed waterproof for almost a year to the day I bought them. Yesterday I was working with a hose and found out they are no longer waterproof, but for the price, a full year of regular use is a serious win! I am going to buy another pair. Original review after one day: These shoes are fine. They are not special. I had to order a 13 because they don't have 12.5 and these are just the right size, so I'm gonna say they run about half a size small. I had to replace the insole/insert that comes with them, but that is less about the shoe and more about my messed up feet. I would give them a 4, but my right heel wants to rise out of the show a little with each step. Perhaps this will get better as they break in. If you have flat feet, plan to put in your own insole. If you have wide feet, look elsewhere. If you have normal feet, you will probably like them more than me. ... show more

The shoes fit very well and are good for walking the dog or go for an easy hike. On wet grass and muddy paths they are great. They are also easy to clean. The only thing, if water comes on top of the shoe like in higher wet grass you will get wet feet. They are not as water resistant as shown in the advertisement. Previous purchases of this shoe lasted about 9-12 months before the cloth uppers worn out and split. This one lasted 1 month and then the rubber sole separated. Also the waterproof rating is just a chinese wet dream, after one month any splash of water goes right through to my socks. I called Amazon customer service because I was just over the one month return time...I wanted a replacement and couldn't find a way to contact the vendor. Amazon tried, for almost half an hour, to find the vendor's contact information. But they had to admit they couldn't, they actually didn't have a way to contact the vendor. Amazon did offer to refund my money, so they did the right thing. But don't buy this shoe for the 6 month warranty, it is useless. And if you want a shoe the lasts between one and 12 months, and gets your socks wet all the time...this is the chinese shoe for you. ... show more

I purchased these for their waterproof beds. That’s not the case. I wore them in a rain storm and socks and feet were wet because of the tongues material. I would say at best water resistant in a very light rain. Look for waterproof elsewhere. Can wear after rain has fallen and none expected. Fit comfortably. Can tread on light puddles at best. Not warm to wear if looking for that quality. Waterproof zero stars. ... show more

These do run very small. I ordered a size bigger, as that happened to be the size that was significantly on sale, and just hoped they would fit. Luckily, they just did fit, and i love how cute they are. If a half size larger was on sale, however, i would have liked the bigger size, as im not sure how thick a sock i can wear with the smaller size. Again, they run very small. They are waterproof, except for the tongue, which works for me. I work on concrete floors and when the floors get wet, i find these boots to be extremely slippery, so im not sure how they qualify as slip resistant ... maybe if youre hiking on rocks, but definitely not good on wet concrete. Lastly, i walk in cleaning chemicals and bleach, both diluted. I have previously bought cheap work boots from that big retail store. The souls on those boots got eaten away from the chemicals in less than a year on one pair and only a few months on another pair. I am really hoping these boots hold up better! ... show more
