  • Made games playable
Games that would not work or were so slow that they were useless are now stellar with my 4060!!! I can play *any* game (except Baldur's Gate 3 multi-player) at 1080 or 1440 and most games in 4K. I had upgraded from the included (with my HP Pavilion Gaming PC) from a Radeon 5500 series and the entire machine is so so so much better! ... show more

  • Zotac 4060ti >16gb<
I bought this as an upgrade for a Cyberpowerpc gaming pc - replacing an msi rx 580 4gb card. The rx 580 was capable of playing most modern games in 1080p, but it would really start to be pushed at higher settings. The biggest drawbacks being heat and noise. When fully utilized I would see temps ~85c+, along with quite audible fan noise. I wanted an upgrade that would provide some future proofing, along with fixing my temp and noise problems, without breaking the bank. My PC came with only a 500w power supply, and I did not want to upgrade that as I'd rather that money go towards upgrading the graphics card as well. The rx 580 was drawing around 185w, which was already pushing the limit of my 500w power supply, so I wanted a card that would draw less. This pretty much eliminated all of AMD's offerings, and left me to choose between the regular rtx 4060, the rtx 4060ti 8gb, and the rtx 4060ti 16gb. At the time of this review prices are roughly 300, 400, and 430 for these cards. I nearly went with the regular rtx 4060 for the price, but felt safer having that 16gb for future proofing against bigger games. I am happy with the card, it runs well. It stays way cooler than the rx 580. When I push it to high utilization I max around 72c, about 15 degrees less than the rx 580 at max. It is also far harder to reach max utilization, with the temp usually 55-60 while doing normal gaming that would have the rx 580 in the mid 80s. The fans are quiet, I could barely hear them when it was under load. Quite an improvement over the jet turbine noises the rx580 made. This upgrade and upgrading to an NVMe SSD took my 6 year old system into current gen gaming, with my system outperforming pre-built systems running over $1000 for half the cost. Summary, highly recommend - value of the card at time of review (at $429) is a great deal for the 16gb model with other brands still at $449. ... show more

  • Great GPU for lower high-end PCs
The media could not be loaded. Runs all my games at max no problem. May not be a 4070 or 4090, but it runs everything fine. Frame generation is pretty cool and DLAA makes games look great. The fans will stop if you're not playing something intensive too, so should get good fan life from them. I upgraded from a 2060 Super and for practically the same price too! (~$400) Immediately I could tell a difference in quality between the two. I play on a 1440p180Hz monitor and this card is pretty good with my games on high. I've had this card for little over a year now and I couldn't be happier. All in all a decent card for the price and performance. ... show more

  • My 14yr old son loves it.
So he got a gaming computer. He's had it for a while now, but I did notice that he was having some issues, some games just would play Luke they used to. He would have to play on the lowest setting and he would still have issues. Well we got him his and it solved the problem. See momma knows what she's talking about. ... show more

  • It's a nice upgrade
I needed more ram, I previously was using the 3060 TI with 8 gigs of ram, 8 gigs of ram just doesn't cut it any more, I was running out of ram when using stable diffusion, the upgrade 4060ti with 16 gigs of ram was exactly what I was looking for. This 4060ti 16 gigs with ram is a good value for a do it all GPU, if your playing games its good, if your rendering images it's good, if u got 50 billion window tabs open, multiple monitors running, watching a video on screen plying games on another screen it's great, 16gigs should be standard on gpu's. Pos. very versatile GPU Runs cool Uses less power Looks good 16gigs of ram Cons. If your upgrading from a 3060 ti , 3070 or equivalent and your just using it for gaming then for the price it may not be worth it for some. ... show more

  • Excellent GPU
Really don't know why everyone is Trashing on this card on the internet this is a great GPU even with the 16GB VRAM is a nice edition considering most newer games are going to need a higher VRAM now and in the coming future. still have a ryzen 5 3600 cpu but I am upgrading that later this week to a ryzen 7 5700x . But so far cyberpunk 2077 has been a lot more colorful and vibrant. My previous GPU was a RTX 2060 super founders edition. Also it does have a lower power draw if you don't want to spend more cash on a power supply. I'm glad I got this card. ... show more
