This could easily be mistaken for a Seiko or Citizen, et. al. Elegant, minimalistic, just stunning. At this price point, you simply cannot beat this. The movement keeps time not only overnight, but even over (almost) a weekend. And they're accurate! Against a quartz watch, these would hold true for *months*, at the very least. The deployment clasp is secure, and the band itself looks just as beautiful as the photos. This is my second "OLEVS" purchase, and I must say, I am rather impressed. Both watches have worked wonderfully. Excellent movement, and while by no means "shock-proof", these watches do seem to withstand *light* shock quite well. If needed, they include a very simple tool to remove (or add) links to fit. I tried removing one, but discovered that I am not a jeweler! This is not the fault of OLEVS. The watch is quite accurate for a mechanical watch it loses about 2 seconds while I’m wearing it. It gains 7 seconds overnight lying flat on my nightstand. I rarely have to reset the time. It’s nice looking too. I get a lot of compliments on it. The mechanism hacks so if it’s a few seconds fast I just pull out the stem and wait for a few seconds ands it’s once again perfect. I waited to give a review to see what the long term results would be and this watch has disappointed me greatly. It stops and the day date will not stay synced have to keep resetting it, my Seiko watch of the same type mechanical self winding day date worked perfectly for over 15 years. I guess i should have spent the extra money and bought another Seiko ... show more

It is a beautiful piece. However, the directions for use hard to understand. If you try to reset it at the wrong time they said it will damage the internals. Only good for someone that is super active.
