  • Super compact, stable, and low power use
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
I bought this card to upgrade an Alienware X51, which is an ultra compact gaming computer with only a 240w powersupply. despite the 300watt recommended spec this ran perfectly fine on the lower wattage psu(but I ended up buying the 330watt upgrade to be safe). It allowed me to game on high or even ultra settings at 60fps on 1080p for most titles, and temperatures were fine, so if you have the average 1080p 60hz moniter this will pretty much max out your gaming experience if the rest of your rig is up to match. Now this review comes with a caveat, if you have unlimited space and power, an RTX 570 would be about 25$ cheaper with 20% higher performance, (I've even seen 580's and 590's in this price range!?!?) but if you have limited space, need to power directly from the pci slot, have a power supply bottleneck, or care about a 15$ difference at the end of the year in electric bill, this little guy will get you where you need to go with flying colors ... show more

  • Not the best for GPU power
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
There are older cards (and newer) have have more GPU cores than this one does but considering it doesn't require external power this is a powerful little card. The size is perfect for any mid-sized tower. And despite it not having the GPU power as it's bigger and externally powered siblings it still holds it's own for gaming. I found that because the processors are so new that I was having issues with some 3D modeling/rendering software being compatible with it and my system would crash as soon as I tried to open the software. Video editing software had no issues. So, good for gaming but not for 3D production. If you really need GPU power, this could be your side boo, but not your main squeeze when it comes to GPU rendering. ... show more

  • Decent small format graphics card for 1080p gaming
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
Took a 5-yr old Dell Optiplex 3020 office PC and added RAM, an i5-4590 CPU and this graphics card to make an entry-level gaming machine for a buddy's 11 year old for $300. Installed an old Antec 430W Bronze 80 power supply I had in a box, too, since the stock Dell 290W may not have been enough. Graphics card fits nicely (longer one *might* have interfered with SATA cables on mobo, which is why I went with the shorty), and is quiet, cool running, and performs as expected. The 1650 tests noticeably faster than the older 1050. A Radeon RX 570 would be even faster and a few bucks cheaper, but it draws twice the watts and is a dual-fan longer card. So I went with the GTX 1650 OC. The kid is using a old laptop without discrete graphics right now at low res and all the eye candy turned down, so anything will be a revelation to him. ... show more

  • Works really well even in 2021 and no PSU needed. (PSU = power supply unit)
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
Power: This is a fairly powerful GPU but it's old. Can easily run 1080p but not the best choice as it doesn't use too much power. On that note, NO PSU CORD NEEDED. It takes all its power from the motherboard and nothing else. It also only has 4GB VRM so don't try pushing too hard. Ports: This card has HDMI, DVI-D, and DisplayPort. (One of each) Overall: It works really well as I am still using it today in 2021 and can still play most AAA games but I can't really prove it as I am a casual gamer and have only a hardrive so can't play Warzone too well and only run an Intel i5-4440 CPU but I'm building a new pc soon so will update. It's really quiet for my use case and is "overclock ready" (never tried). So overall it's a good budget GPU but wouldn't recommend if you have $500 as there are most definitely better options but in this economy and chip shortage its a good lower power and quiet alternative for now. (wouldn't recommend as there are most definitely better/more powerful options) ... show more

  • Does a great job with low noise, low heat and low electricity use.
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
I have to admit, I am using this card for doing COVID-19 research with folding@home to help with the worlds fastest networked computer system. I have 20 multicore machines and mostly GTX1650 graphics cards because they are very efficient at doing the floating point calculations that are used to simulate viral proteins and find hidden areas that are possible drug binding sites to prevent the virus from multiplying. Because these cards are so efficient, they use less electricity and produce less heat, while crunching the numbers at the same rate as more energy hungry and also more expensive cards. You are probably interested in this card for gaming, which means that you can expect to be able to play you games without the machine heating up, and without the noise of a hair drying going in the background ... show more

  • Great Gaming GPU to Upgrade a Prebuilt
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
I bought a Dell OptiPlex on eBay for $80 and it had a small power supply that would not support the RX 480 I had lying around. This card was trashed by reviewers when it was released but I think this is the exact reason this card exist the fact there is no other competition out there but the RX560is how the price is justified. This card has been great. I primarily play World of Warships and this will handle it at high settings with no anti-aliasing with an I5 3570. I don't notice the sound of the card but I'm also using a prebuilt which tend to be louder. This card serves its purpose well and I would recommend it for this purpose or e-sports titles. ... show more

  • Best slot-powered graphics card
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
I decided to assemble a cheap gaming system from an old HP Compaq Elite 8200 CMT. It only has a 320 watt PSU, so I wanted to stick with a slot-powered graphics card to avoid the expense of getting a more powerful PSU. After doing a lot of research and comparisons, I settled on the GTX 1650. There are less expensive cards that are more powerful, but require external power (RX 570 & RX 580). For the slot-powered options, I was initially looking at the GTX 1050. Thankfully I found this GTX 1650 which provides about 50% more graphics power than the 1050 while being basically the same price. The GTX 1650 pairs well with the i5-2500, running many games at 60fps on High quality settings at 1080p. My display maxes at 60Hz, so there isn't any need for more. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Good for budgets
Style: GTX 1650 OC GDDR5
Wroks great and can play many games well. The one I got had an issue with the fan making it very noisy. Good card though.
