installation went pretty easily. I knocked off one star because when tightening the handle the bolt started to turn in the framing and I figured I better stop before fully tightening it. Not sure on the quality of it or what would have happened if I had kept tightening. Make sure you unspool it after install and then spool it back up, other wise it won't be tight and when you go to use it you could have issues with whatever your holding coming loose. Stitching looks good and should hold up. Material is probably very UV resistant but I'll be keeping it covered when not in use since it will have the potential to degrade.

This is a good, basic boat winch that is well built and rated for 1200 pounds. It has a 30 foot strap that will meet your needs in most cases. The handle is easy to use and the hook has a latch. The price is lower too, so this is a good value. There are more robust models out there, but in most cases smaller boats will be served well by this setup.
