I bought the 8-channel 4k PoE as a self-install project for my father and I. I chose this particular model because of the good reviews and came at an affordable price for all the features advertised. The ability to view the cameras remotely was also interesting. The packaging is quite good- each item is carefully wrapped for its protection. The cameras felt solid in quality. The cables leading from the cameras come with a protected end for the included cables to be run through the home. We don't have a 4K-capable monitor set up, so I can't comment on the full resolution, but the video quality is quite good and the low-light mode is very clear on the display. Don't mount the camera too close to a wall or solid object if you want best results for the low-light mode. The cable provided for the cameras was relatively easy to run - we opted for an attic run to the roof mounting points. Once the DVR was hooked to the internet, we were able to see the cameras through the ZosiSmart app. The provided QR code system makes it easy to pair a device to your account and even share it with another account, if you want. I will note that I didn't set up motion detection as our intent for using these cameras is for common residential use, and I don't really need to get notified if a small animal crosses the camera at night, for example. It seems the features are available right in the configuration menu if that's what you want. I would also like to mention the high quality of the customer service. After our initial install, we found one of the cables wasn't working. I contacted support, and after they understood the situation and confirmed the product type, sent us a new cable free of charge. It was as simple as that. You can get support both through chat and e-mail, and they are responsive both during chat business hours and off hours through e-mail. I bought this item to add to my security cameras I already had. If I would have known the kind of customer experience I would of had I would have bought all my other cameras with this company. So I bought this camera to add to mine because I needed more visual on areas due to issues around us. So I ordered it and got the camera really quick but I couldn’t get it to work so I contacted the company and from the very start I had such a wonderful experience. Louis contacted me right back and had me do a few things but it didn’t work so he said immediately for me to verify my address so that he could send me another one to test. Once I verified my address Louis sent the camera right away I got it within a day or two. The camera is better then the ones I have. The picture is clear and night vision is perfect. It does everything it says it does and is very much worth the price. The customer service here is without a doubt the best I’ve come across. If I sent an email Loius and Cathy always responded right back. So the camera came and it worked. Louis was aware that I needed this camera due to the issues I told him and saw to it it was here fast so I would feel safe. Louis and Cathy are the perfect example of how customer service should be handled. This company is a company who takes care of their customer and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy. I can tell you honestly there’s a few company’s I know of who could learn a bit or two from this company. I hardly ever write reviews but this one was definitely needed. If you are looking to buy security cameras and want the best customer service and great quality cameras I strongly suggest you look no further but to this company. I know there’s companies that when you call or write in you get someone different each time and having to explain same thing over and over again but every time I emailed them Louis and Cathy was always the ones responding. To the upper management of this company I want you to know that you have to me the best two employees a company could ever dream of. I purchased the 4 camera system and added 2 extra cameras. Set-up was easy, and it worked right away. If you just use the 1TB hard drive, you have to reformat about 1x a month depending on how much activity you have. My HD stopped being able to reformat, so I contacted the company. They asked me to check a couple of thing, but eventually they sent me a new HD. It works great and is again up and running! I was very satisfied with the service. ... show more
