Fits my 2012 chevy impala. However does not actually seal and triggers the check engine light for a small evap leak. Also the lock works...but not well as you can just turn it a little harder than when its unlocked and it comes right off so the lock is pointless

I put the locking gas cap on about a week after purchase. It seemed hard to use, but I thought it was me. After all, I haven’t used one in YEARS. This morning I went to the gas station and I couldn’t get the cap to unlock. I was crushed, because I was out of town. Eventually I had to take a pocket knife to get to the lock. I’m disappointed because 10days outside of the return period. I won’t say don’t purchase, but I will say use it as soon as you buy. If you have issues with it, immediately return it. ... show more

I bought it for security, to prevent gas siphoning or vandalism. I don’t know why GM wasn’t smart enough to protect us.

    • No longer works to remove cap.
I have had this a few months, but have used it very little as we don't drive this car a lot. Anyway, after only using it a few times, it is VERY difficult to remove. The key goes in and turns easily, but the mechanism works very poorly and wont engage to let the cap turn off. Going back to the factory cap until I find a decent replacement. ... show more
