Total trash. This is plastic. If you turn it with a feather touch the part that sticks into the tank separates from the plastic top. Looks like metal, but it's plastic.... unreal.

    • Plastic and wouldn't fit without modification.
Diameter of cap mechanism was either too large or out of round and wouldn't fit in filler spout of IHI excavator as advertised. I had to take a grinder and resize the cap to allow it to fit. It seems kind of flimsy (plastic) but I suppose it's better than nothing and keeps rain out of the fuel tank. Considering a new OEM cap is over 100.00 dollars I guess I'll live with it and give it 2 stars. ... show more

Fits well. Lock turns. Engages. But doesn’t keep cap from being removed. So really expensive non locking cap.
