Be careful when buying this cap. It seemed to seal at first, but after a month, my warning light came on to tighten gas cap. The threads wouldn't tighten down any more . Then after couple of weeks, the check engine light came on, because of the darn gas cap!! I bought this locking gas cap for my 2013 Impala. It clearly showed that it would fit for my vehicle but yet when I got it the cap didn't seem to securely lock as it was suppose to. The gas flap would not be flush with the car body like it should be and I would find it not locked when I went to fill up on gas. After a few days or so I started getting a check engine light showing up on my dash. When I investigated what was going on, it showed that the gas cap was not securely closed. I tried several time to get it to lock correctly but it failed to do so. I ended up having to use the non locking gas cap that came with the car again and the check engine light shut off when I put the OEM cap back on. Well, if you’ve got gas and you didn’t go to a restaurant you need this cap. It seems to work extremely well and with the changing world I think everybody needs to have one of these caps to protect your gas without going to a restaurant you know I used to say eat here and get gas well you need to protect it with this cap. ... show more
