This cap worked perfectly for my Diesel transfer tank. It has two spring loaded seals. One vents for overpressure, and the other valve allows air to come in when pumping fuel. The guys who gave one star saying the lock is pointless, or that the cap leaks, do not know what they are doing. They are not tightening the cap all the way. If you tighten the cap all the way, it does not leak, and the lock hole lines up just past one of the tabs on the base, so if you put a lock in that hole, the cap cannot be removed. 2" NPT "pipe" threads on the base.
