Introducing Gentrol Point Source - a special Roach control device that contains the Gentrol Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) hydroprene for 90-day control of roaches and other stored product pests. Activating Gentrol Point Source is as simple as squeezing the raised end of the plastic, adhesive-back device. This releases IGR onto a filter paper. From there, it moves up to 75 square feet. That way, pre-adult stored product pests never need to come in contact with the device. One to two weeks after application, you will begin to see roaches with crinkled wings, showing the initial effects of the IGR. These roaches cannot reproduce. Works great but takes a while
I had a lot of bugs all of a sudden in my RV which I was living in at the time. I put out bait traps and did not see the population go down. It was not until I put these all over my RV that I started to see a decrease in the bugs and after 3 or 4 weeks they were all gone.

It does the job!
This one works! But it is pricey. I’ve been using it for sometime ever since I had an infestation from my neighbor’s house. It is the same one the exterminator used and it worked. It’s not magic and it doesn’t work overnight; it takes several applications and then you have to continue maintenance. But it has been a blessing to solve the problem. I still put new ones out every couple months and I do have an exterminator also, but even with him alone, it took well over a year and didn’t fully solve the problem until I bought these. I do recommend I’m highly to anyone who’s got a problem. In my case by Neighbors refused to hire an exterminator, so I had to battle this by myself in a row home of many houses.

Defective Product
This is my second time buying Gentrol Point Source. The first time I bought it, the product was incredibly effective — I barely saw any nymphs, and the physical effects on the adult roaches were very noticeable. However, this second batch has been a complete disappointment. When I went to crack open the discs as directed, the internal capsules felt much tougher and seemed completely dried up inside. It felt like I was sent old, expired stock. I initially hoped it was just my imagination, but the product is completely ineffective this time around. The nymphs are back, and there is no visible impact on the adult roaches. We were so excited to use this again based on our first experience, but this batch is defective. We would like a refund or a replacement.

Not bad
After using it for over a month, quite a few small insects still emerged, and some newly hatched ones continued to grow. I wonder if I positioned it incorrectly; it hasn't been as effective as I expected.
