UPDATE: ZK-1001U works when supplied with sufficient power from the power supply, of course! At its 100W rated output power, the supply needs at least that or more, such as 200W peak. In my application, I was hoping for just 5 Watts peak. Idle power is approximately 0.4 amps so at 9V was 3.6 Watts as indicated by my bench power supply. This ZK-1001U sort of worked on a 9V "1300mAh" battery. Put in quotes because these batteries are not good for the rated current in my tests and are more like half or less. giving more like 5 Watts available. On a 9V battery, when I connected a guitar to the auxiliary input it sounded like it was cutting out. To use as a portable, a battery must have sufficient capacity and the common 9V battery doesn't have sufficient capacity. On the 9V battery I used, the Aux input and Bluetooth to my phone worked but the USB thumb drive didn't play. It looked like the thumb drive was being accessed as the light blinked or paused by pressing the volume knob. When I connected it to a bench power supply it showed 9VDC at 0.37Amps with the USB thumb drive and 0.27Amps with the thumb drive removed. On the bench power supply the thumb drive worked - music played from it. In the past, I had problems with many switching type DC adapter power supplies creating noise. The USB thumbdrive worked using a LITEON PA-1041-0 12VDC/3.3Amp adapter power supply I had for a HP monitor. No obnoxious noise. So, this amplifier doesn't work on a 9VDC battery - just insufficient power available to operate correctly. I hoped it would work as a mini cigar box guitar amplifier but on the 9V battery it was cutting out. If looking for a low power build, I had good results using the HiLetgo 2pcs TDA8932 35W Mono Digital Amplifier Board but it is sensitive to noise, both from the power supply and induced hum. In a non-metal case, the case of the volume control must be soldered to the input jack's ground and the panel needs to use a copper shield tape grounded that is also grounded to the input jack. (That is what I did anyway.) Original Review: Put the heatsink on as shown in the photo. I added two small heatsinks on the ICs on the right side (knobs facing you). I only tried a USB stick with MP3 files and the AUX input (mono 3.5mm plug) to a signal generator. The volume is a switch that selects the input. I didn't try other features. I powered it with a variable power supply as I was interested in running it on a 9V battery. It draws about 0.3A (300ma) so a 600mah battery will probably actually be half of 600mah in reality so would last 1 hour. I'll use a DC power jack and connect the (-) terminal that is a switch (opens when the plug is inserted) to remove the battery. The battery I plan on using is USB-C charged. A chassis USB-C cable to male plug will be inside. The parts on the board get a little hot. Not sure about longevity in a box without good air movement. As I didn't try other features and it works as I tested I gave it 5 stars. It seems to work as intended.

Adjust accordingly!!!!!!!!! This amp is amazing IF YOU ADJUST IT RIGHT!!! Thought something was wrong until I sent it back and got another one and it was going the same thing. After adjusting it correctly it work very good. Highly recommend

It's a terrific little device except for the face it does need a 24v power cord. They give a piece of one. Do order one of don't have it. That's the reason it doesn't get 5 stars. You will have to build it to a degree but nothing technical. Otherwise, it BOOMS. I bought the 80watt and it rocks hard plus if you have a sub... prepare for techtonic aftershocks. Yes it can.
