Frame has instructions easier than Ikea furniture all tools included of course. The construction is a bit weak when tightening the bolts I bent the frame on one side trying to make sure it was tight but it still works like normal, the only other problem is no grip pads so on wood floor it just slides all over. The bed frame arrived in good condition. Heavy duty construction. Easy to assemble. If you have a tendency to kick the supports with your toes (as I do), I used black foam pipe insulation (or could use colored swim noodles for a kids room) around the middle supports to protect my toes. ; )

I was worried that this one was not going to be able to handle the fun activities that take place in the bedroom (wink wink) To my surprise it works great! it holds weight well and can handle a beating!
