This is a solid piece of luggage with the avid traveler in mind. It’s the right size for a carry on, which I prefer to do whenever I can. The wheels seem pretty solid, and appear that they will swivel easily while rushing around the airport. It expands if needed, locks if needed, and has nice pockets on the inner zipper area. The green color is even nicer in person. The one thing I’m concerned with, is how well it will hold up over time. The outer shell isint very hard, and I do worry about cracking. Only time will tell how durable it is, & I will be sure to update later if any issues occur. As long as I always carry it on (which is likely) I believe this will hold up just fine. ... show more

The expanded portion is on TOP of the zippered mesh divider - which means you have to fit items under the divider, then fit items on top - or simply unzip the divider and push it to the side, where it really doesn't have a place to stay. In both those scenarios, when you open the suitcase, if you flip it on the wrong side, everything above the zippered divider will fall out. The expander should have been placed beneath the zippered divider so that you can completely fill the expanded section with items that are a bit larger, then zip the divider closed, completely securing the contents underneath it. ... show more

This is a decent carry on but the fabric seems cheap. I’ll definitely put a suitcase strap on it to make sure it doesn’t ever rip open when traveling. But it’s perfect for my teens first suitcase. For staycations. She’s happy with it.

I'd give this more of a 3.75 stars/5. The side with the zip enclosure is somewhat low (see picture) and so it removes valuable carry on luggage space. This is my main concern b/c I'm an overpacker and this would limit me in what I could carry. Suitcase otherwise is a great color. Definitely a little smaller than I expected.
