This bag is the right size for my wife when packing for a weekend. She loved the color and size, and the separate pockets/compartments. The retracting handle seems a little weak, and it would have been better with four wheels instead of two, but it worked alright for a recent weekend trip. Can't really pack a lot of bulky shoes but flats and heels will fit. She was able to pack a pair of jeans, shorts, one pair of tennis shoes, four tops, four pairs of socks and underwear, and pajamas in the main compartment. She tucked a pair of flip flops through the loops on the back of the bag. Makeup bag and full size can of hairspray went in one side pocket, hairbrush and toothbrush in the other one. Jewelry fit in an inner pocket, and phone charger in another. Had to buy a portable charger pack, and didn't really see the benefit of the charging port in the suitcase since we plugged it into an outlet at the hotel, but I guess it could come in handy in another scenario. I bought this bag for two reasons; flying discount airlines or short overnight trips where I don't need to check a bag OR carry-on, and secondly, to use as a personal item, with my carryon, on long flights to Europe. For short flights and overnight, it's fine. I flew United Economy (aisle) and also Southwest (center) and fit under the seat, although I did have to turn it sideways in the aisle seat. These usually have the least amount of space by your feet I've found. There are good pockets outside to quickly access wallet and phone while going through security and another side pocket I plan to use for eyemask, ear buds, Kleenex etc in the cabin for long flight. The only thing I might have liked would be a place to put my iPad, like the Baggalini, however that one is way more money and also too big for airlines under seat dimensions, which defeats the purpose. So far, I like it. It's easy to maneuver and lightweight. For the money I'll get some good use out of it for certain. *Update! Just got back from 2 weeks in Europe and this was awesome. Kept all of my souvenirs safe on the return trip. Pleased with purchase. ... show more

We bought a second one (black this time, navy the 1st). For the money these are very convenient, well made and they hold a ton. We were flying on Southwest and they easily fit in the space under the seats of the 737 we rode on to/from Denver from Nashville. I think that they will be our 1st pick of 1 night stays on car trips also when you just need stuff for a hotel en route to your main travel spot. Purchased this bag to take on a flight to carry my electronics, charging cords and a couple of overnight things just in case our bags were lost/delayed to our arriving airport. This bag has quite a bit of room in it and held everything I needed + some. The bag, despite being full of my items was easy to maneuver and relatively lightweight. I was able to use the bag strap on the back of it and attach it to my larger suitcase pull handle before we checked our bags in, which made it super handy. Getting through TSA was a breeze as this bag has the main compartment flap that opens, making it easy to remove anything (and everything) TSA makes you remove and put in individual bins to go through the scanner. The only thing I made note of, is it doesn't fully fit under the seat in front of you. It does stick out some so if you have a flight attendant that's super picky about how far stuff sticks out from under a seat then that might be an issue. To get mine to go under the seat in front of me, I had to turn it sideways (handle on left or right and wheels on the opposite side instead of top of bag being pushed under the seat first). I’m trying to master the art of packing for 4 days in these under the seat bags. I’m not pro level yet but practicing with this one. Good price and quality isn’t awful. If I get used to the size I will most likely upgrade to something in better quality and with wheels on both edges (this only has them in back). Good place to start tho and I do like this bag. My Mom has also borrowed it twice and liked it too! I’ll probably pass it on to her once I upgrade. ... show more

I was able to pack 3 days worth of lightweight clothes, a small sleepsak, toiletries, an iPad, mobile charger and a small teddy bear (yes, a teddy bear). The side storage pockets helped too. My only regret is that I wish it came with 4 wheels instead of 2. Also wanted to add that the telescoping handles only stay up when they are all the way up. In addition to a suitcase that I check when I fly I usually take a carry-on with my reader and medications, Travel pillow etc. I have been carrying it around the airport and it is bulky and heavy. I found this small suitcase on sale and love that it has a handle and wheels!! It is hard to tell from the pictures how much space it has inside but I was amazed at how roomy it is! We were traveling by car recently and I got my swimsuit, Water shoes, toiletries, travel pillow, medications, jewelry, charging cords and charger, curling iron and reader in there! And the best part of all is that it has a retractable handle and wheels!!! I haven’t tried getting this under the seat of an airplane but I will update my review if I have a problem.
