Description

First produced in 1933, early Zippo lighters were rectangular in shape, and a 1/4 inch taller than Zippo lighters produced today, with the entire hinge soldered to the outside of the lighter case. Today, Vintage lighters are still manufactured in Brushed Brass, Brushed Chrome, High Polish Brass, High Polish Chrome, Sterling Silver, and Street Chrome base models where they feature the iconic vintage slash. Each lighter has a bottom stamp signifying the year it was made, is refillable, and backed by Zippo's famous lifetime guarantee. All windproof lighters are American made in our Bradford, PA factory and come packaged in a gift box.

Good cheap zippo. (Get a butane insert)

First off, I find zippo lighters irritating. I don't smoke and having to fill the lighter every other day is ridiculous in the age of cheap butane lighters. If you like 'em, great. This is a decent lighter. However, I bought it because I had a twin flame butane insert and needed a zippo to put it in. So I bought the cheapest zippo I could find. Real happy with it now. I Adore this Lighter

I adore this lighter. I have something of a fascination with the worn down and aged. Things that reject the idea of having to be plastic perfect. Things that almost ask to be scuffed up a bit. This Zippo definitely falls into the category. It just straddles the line between martini and moonshine. The brass finish looks great out of the box and I got a ton of compliments on it. I guess most people are used to the standard chrome finish and gaudy designs often found on Zippo Lighters today. I've had it about a year and it still works without a single hiccup. I've banged it around a bit, however, the lighter wears its battle scars well. The scuffs, dents and so on don't subtract from its aesthetics, but add to it. I really do love this lighter and I highly recommend it to anyone on the cusp. It was a bit annoying to buy the Zippo lighter fluid separately, but that is to be expected. Quality not as good as before

Casing material feels cheap and thin. Has no weight to it and scratches easily. Also its misaligned so it doesnt close completely flushed. Disappointed in the quality control.
