  • perfect for all your non-flammable fuel needs
Color: 78 gram
I'm not entirely sure that whatever was in the can I received was actually butane. I had two working lighters, one with a small amount of butane in it and one that was empty. Both were torch lighters; maybe that was the problem. But either way, after I put this fuel in them they never lit again. Fortunately neither lighter was very expensive, but safe to say I'll never use this fuel again. Edit: So, this is embarrassing. I'm changing my rating and updating the review but leaving my old review here as a mark of shame and cautionary tale about hot takes. It turns out that my lighters have a little screw. Turn the screw, you get more or less gas. Well, somehow the screw got turned more or less all the way down. It must have happened when I was fiddling with them, putting new fuel in them. I thought that suddenly the lighters weren't working, but as I was going to junk them I discovered the screw and, well, they light perfectly now. So it works fine after all. My bad. ... show more

  • Absolute Rip-off
Color: 78 gram
A very tiny can of gas for six dollars--a complete, blatant ripoff. I now realize that "78 grams" of butane is not very much at all. My mistake not to have understood that and also my mistake in buying from these people--you can get a 5.8 OUNCE can from Walmart fro $6.75.

  • The Fill Adapter Tips ALWAYS LEAK (Like All of Them Do)
Color: 42 Gram
This old design has never been improved since it was first made and it is way past due for a tech refresh/redesign. Improvements need to be made to the filling adapters (in design and manufacture) to eliminate the tendency to leak when filling, wasting fuel when recharging devices. This could easily be remedied by using a more flexible, self-sealing silicone rubber tip instead of hard plastic fill adapters. Otherwise, 15-20% of the fuel is wasted each time it is used because the existing technology is a sloppy design. Manufacturers accept that their products leak and since they are not compelled to do better by consumers, they don’t care and won’t do anything unless/until after someone is needlessly injured - or profits decline after consumers abandon shoddy products. Like the chemical/fossil fuel and the transportation industries are known for only remediating dangerous products AFTER being compelled by government/legal action. Design & safety criteria and manufacturing quality will never improve until the industry is shamed into improving the design. These are the same principles employed throughout industry because our government fails to protect consumers’ safety and won’t compel industry to improve until AFTER consumers are injured or there is loss of life. The transportation industry (including the airlines, car and airliner manufacturers) analyze the relative cost to compensate victims of aircraft and car crashes against the cost of reducing specific KNOWN risk factors, which leaves the unknown risks that represent a significant proportion of overall risk factors. In most cases, this is a logical and effective process; however, being subject to human error, there is always a likelihood of a person of responsibility making the wrong decision, and having a disproportional effect on society. Utilizing a decision-support methodology that is inclusive of multiple team members composed of stakeholders increases the likelihood of project success - immeasurably enough to qualify this as unquestionable. CONSUMER SAFETY NEEDS TO BE PROMOTED AND ENFORCED AS THOUGH LIVES DEPEND ON IT. ... show more

  • Great working little can of fuel!
Color: 42 Gram
This was my first purchase of butane fuel, so I went with a brand name I was familiar with. Bought this for a culinary torch that I'd just received. Having never used one of these cans (or the torch itself) before I had no clue if I was about to blow myself up, but I followed the instructions on the torch and I'm here to report that I survived! The can of Zippo worked as it was suppose to on the first try, and I now have a working culinary torch. So, if you're like me and have never touched this stuff before, rest assured it's simple to use. If I can do it, anyone can. Trust me. My only word of advice though, is even with a completely smooth operation where I didn't feel like anything at all went wrong, there was still a small amount of fumes in the air which resulted in a tiny headache. So make sure you are in a ventilated area if you can just to be safe. :) ... show more

  • Make sure you know the size of the tip
Color: 42 Gram
I bought this butane fuel because it was suggested on my lighter's page. But the tip of the butane doesn't really fit my lighter's refill hole. So when I try to fill my lighter, a lot of butane leak out and only a few of butane really got into the lighter. Lucky my lighter's fuel container is clear so I know how much butane it actually got in. It really waste a lot and you can't really tell if it fits or not until you try it. It will be great if: 1. The tip is not plastic. 2. It come with different tip adapter. 3. Amazon not suggest the wrong butane fuel. ... show more

  • Did not work with Butane Blow Torch Lighter
Color: 42 Gram
This item did not work with the Professional Creme Brulee Culinary Butane Blow Torch Lighter with Safety Lock and EVA Carry Case. I tried, husband tried, and the hole in this canister was too small to fit over the torch's fill hole. Tried enlarging the hole, didn't work. Tried cutting a piece off but the hole just got smaller. Back to the drawing board, but this item was one of 3 listed with the "Frequently Bought Together" on their page when I bought the torch, so beware those Frequently Bought Together tips...do more research. ... show more
