The bed is GREAT. Extremely solid, no wobble and no squeaking. It's also VERY heavy, but I consider that a good thing. As for the instructions, they look simple and there's a CGI video but there's a lot you need to figure out. To save you the trouble: Our mechanical Allen wrench/ratchet didn't work. Thankfully, there is a spare L shaped one in the container with the screws. Though the instructions show the parts by letters, they are not labelled on the pieces. Only the connections labelled with numbered stickers. This makes it very easy to get the connections right. The only part that was a bit confusing was the wood going into the head board slats. Just ensure the decorative side of the wood with the grooves is flush with side metal pieces. The smooth side of the wood is the back and it is recessed slightly in the metal frame. The instructions must be older because the wood screws into 4 metal 'tabs' but the instructions make it look like 2 long tabs. You'll know it when you see it. Everything lined up easily and all the screws fit easily. All screws are labelled and there are extras. BUT you will need at least 2 people, preferably 3, as you'll have to prop up some sides while putting it together. For ours the head board posts would not slot into the base without some series elbow grease. For the first step, you'll need to UNSCREW the nuts that the long rails 'hang/slot' onto. Then you can tighten them. This took us a while to figure out as it's not indicated in the instructions and no other parts have this feature. Lastly, when you start to lay down the slats, start on the Velcro. Do NOT start on the edges or you'll have a gap. I know that seems like a lot but it really is easy if you have the help and take your time. It took me and my 2 young kids about 1.5 hours but if we knew the above it would probably have taken less than an hour. Bed is SOLID and I'm really happy with it.     • Great quality for the look and price!
I've waited about a month or so to write this review to truly test the quality of this bedframe. To start, it looks very nice. I got gray wash, and it looks fantastic! Just the color I wanted; the pictures are accurate. The metal is also a nice-looking metal and doesn't seem cheap. It's just steel, but the way it was cut and looks adds a lot. The wood is made of bamboo, which makes me feel better than buying something made of fake wood. The packaging is a bit excessive, you'll spend 30% of the time ripping it out of plastic and cardboard before you even begin setting up. Set up was great, video definitely helps, just follow the numbers and it's pretty straightforward. While I did do it by myself, you might want someone to help you for the beginning (footboard attaching to the outer frame). Apart from that, super simple setup, you won't be trying too hard. I would allocate just over an hour to get it done at a good pace. There was adhesive on the wood panelling, covered by a plastic film you can take off. I took it off at first, and then realized it was like superglue, and there is no way I feel comfortable putting that on my mattress, KEEP THIS ON. Your bed will likely not slide around unless it's a melting stick of butter. Was pretty nice of the company to think about it though! Overall, doesn't squeak, doesn't move beyond a reasonable amount, and I like how it looks! If you're debating between bedframes, go with this one. It checks all the boxes. I should also mention, there is plenty of space below the bed. You can fit some smaller boxes and totes underneath if you want. ... show more

Honestly, I'm unable to find one thing wrong with this bed frame. Easy and fast delivery. Driver brought it into my garage. Set up, while a little on the tedious side, really was simple. Everything is numbered and matched up. I purchased queen, 44 inch grey wood. It's pretty. My queen mattress has been on a box spring for about four years. Now that it's on this frame, and the box spring is gone, I'm sleeping like a baby. The frame is sturdy and solid and I feel very secure on it. Love the support. Great quality. Great price. Came boxed up nicely, too. Oh, and I love the fact that the styrofoam pieces were covered in plastic so no floating pieces getting stuck everywhere. Highly recommend! ... show more

by far this has to be the EASIEST bed frame to manually put together. no struggling whatsoever endured during the process of placing it together. (besides carrying the super long box inside for it is HEAVY). instructions are incredibly clear. frame itself is sturdy and fit our queen mattress perfectly. there is still adequate storage space underneath to store items if needed. frame has little to no squeaking for it's more on the quiet side when it comes to movement which is a plus. we didn't rip the tape off the wooden boards for our current mattress is being replaced by another coming in the mail but even without the tape removed, it doesn't move around or slide at all. ... show more

Bed frame came inside flat box weighing a significant amount (75lbs approx). Was not damaged in shipping and was packaged with care. The construction feels sturdy and inspires confidence. Zero noise at all. Looks fantastic and the increased height model puts you at a very comfortable height off the ground. It was so much more difficult to assemble than it needed to be and the instructions were not clear. It’s also SO squeaky. Even if my partner slightly tosses and turns in the night, the bed squeaks so loud that it wakes me up. It should have came with rubber washers. Update: it’s been a couple of months and we added rubber washers and it’s still so creaky. I hate this bed frame. So much. ... show more

    • Very strong
Do I order this over a week ago, I have hardwood floors so I knew before hand I needed to do something to keep the frame from sliding around. I picked up some anti skid pads and cut and placed them under all 6 legs. I also ordered a box metal frame mattress from the same company. after Assembled I placed it on top of the frame and found out it will slide around, no good. so I picked up some 1/2 foam tape and taped it to the out edge of the frame itself, then with 4, 1” u-bolts I secured them underneath on the center bar. With no mattress the frame and box mattress doesn’t move around and most importantly it doesn’t make a sound at all, it’s completely quiet, even after jumping on it for test purposes. overall very nice frame, would buy again. I have a new nectar queen mattress on the frame right now. ... show more
