This is a great bed frame, for the price. I would have given it five stars for that alone. But, the product goes well over and beyond simple value. The bed comes with adorable signs that tell you where everything is - it's not intuitive, as it all comes "hidden" in the headboard. Everything is labeled clearly and everything you need is included. Including a mini allen key socket wrench that makes screw tightening so easy. The instructions are written in plain English - not weird Google translated gibberish you get a lot with products made in China. Unfortunately, when we opened the box we found immediately that one of the legs was broken. We called Amazon, they gave us a number to call ZINUS, we explained the issue and requested just one leg to replace the broken one, but they said they weren't responsible because the bed was purchased through Amazon. This doesn't make sense to me. We contacted Amazon again, and they are going to replace the whole bed at no cost to us. We are expecting them to pick up the bed today and deliver a new one in a few days. I don't think the leg was broken during shipping, it looks it was broken during manufacturing and they shouldn't have sent it. They need a better quaility control. Update: We finally had our bed replaced, and this time everything was fine. Assembling was very easy, every piece of the bed was inside the zipper compartiment on the back of the headboard. The bed is firm and looks great. I want to thank Amazon for their quick support! I attached a pic of the bed and changed my rating to 5 stars. ... show more

Just received my bed today. It went together so easily. Tool's and all the needed screws included. I watched the video on YouTube which really helps. Very sturdy, looks great and best of all got an awesome price thru Amazon warehouse! Patting myself on the back here!

Not only is this bed of great quality, I could tell that the seller is phenomenal as well. Prior to purchasing this, I read through at least 40 of the reviews on here to see if I would regret it. It was significantly less expensive than I had imagined for a quality platform bed so I was apprehensive to waste money on a "cheap bed", but it was the style I envisioned for a long time and I really wanted it to be quality. Spoiler* It totally exceeded my expectations!* A few reviews mentioned that it was heavy, but I felt I would be more concerned if it was not heavy- I imagine that durable parts are going to be heavy and if you're ordering a bed that you want to stay together and bear the weight of a good mattress and 1-3 people, you should be prepared for a heavy package. My package was heavy, I was relieved. A few reviews also mentioned that it was hard to put together and that the directions were less than comprehensive, sometimes non existent, as well as some of the necessary parts. I did notice that a lot of those reviews were old, so I was hoping that meant that the seller had since improved- and they certainly did. I am 5'5" and 130lbs, I put this bed together entirely on my own in under 1.5 hours. The directions were well written and included photos. As far as parts and pieces, there were only 8 screws total that need to be inserted and they provide you the allen wrench to do that with. (They also provide a small spare parts section of all the size screws in case you lose one- awesome!) A few reviews mention that they were confused and thought they only received the headboard and it took them a bit to realize the parts were inside. I think the seller has since improved that as well because when I opened mine, there was a big exciting "here we go! parts are all inside!" sticker right next to the zipper that opened the headboard so I had no question about what to do next. The zipper was actually a really neat unexpected surprise to me as well, as I had imagined that the headboard was hollow and open at the bottom part, where I would find the parts, but actually they were neatly zipped into the back. That also allowed me to store the directions and spare pieces they gave me right back in the headboard, unseen and not lost, in case I need to take the bed apart in the future to move. My only con is that I personally thought the headboard would be larger and you'd see more of it as I was really looking forward to the diamond stitch and this color gray (and was impatiently awaiting it's arrival to start planning what nightstands would match). However, I think this is my own fault because I am using my own pillowtop mattress which is probably taller than most mattresses that Zinus sells for this bed, so by the time I made the bed and put pillows on, there wasn't much headboard left to see. Still worth it! Lastly, my package included a note from the seller which I thought was just the coolest and cutest thing ever! They personally thanked me for my purchase, mention that they read all reviews and make improvements as suggested, and even provided a blank "thinking of you" and "thank you" card that they encouraged me to send to a loved one just because- how thoughtful! As stated above, reading the reviews first and then receiving my package with improvements to things that customers had complained about, I whole heartedly believe that they are a customer service oriented company and aim to continuously make their product better and have succeeded in doing so. This is a great queen bed frame for the price range and would highly recommend it. My only gripe is that it sits too low that does not allow sufficient storage underneath the bed and at times cannot be sturdy if you are a sleeper who moves a lot :) Otherwise assembly is a breeze and looks decent

This bed is a great value for the money. It was fairly simple to put together. Assembly time was about 45 minutes. All pieces fit properly and securely. The needed Allen wrench was included. No other tools needed. The instructions were sufficient. Not great but good. The bed is quiet and sturdy. The mattress (Ghostbed) fits perfectly. It is not the fanciest bed in the world. Pictures are an accurate depiction of product. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Almost a year in this with zero issues. I'm 6' 3 at 240 lbs and it supports me very well. No creaking or any noise. It's also very stable. It stays put on my wood flooring just as it is. I did not use the adhesive strips on the slats. Mattress stays in place no problem. I would by it again too. A friend bought the queen size version a couple of months ago and is equally satisfied (I assembled that one too). Same experience as me so far. All parts are conveniently stored inside the headboard during shipping. Be sure to unzip it to look. This is actually a great feature for moving and storage. King size mattresses are 76 x 80. If you are short on one side, like the length, and the mattress overhangs on the width - rotate your mattress 90 degrees. Finally, it is very quiet during those private moments. Update at 33 months: Still good! Was starting to hear a little creaking here and there. Tightened all Allen bolts back up- 90% of it went away.
