It is well designed and is the sturdiest frame I've ever seen. We purchased a Queen to replace a sleigh bed with a subpar wooden slat frame. It went together easily and is light weight. It is easy to move around on our hardwood floor. It does not squeak during adult activity. It has actually improved sleeping on our old mattress, which I thought possibly needed to be replaced. We discarded the old boxspring, and it turns out the old frame and boxspring were responsible for all the squeaking and sagging. There is plenty of room for storage boxes under the frame if you want to use that space. We paired this frame with a Modway Emily Tufted Button Linen Fabric Upholstered Queen Headboard in Gray, and the vertical outside edges of the legs of the headboard match the outside dimensions of the frame perfectly. I drilled two holes in both the frame and headboard legs 2" and 11" up from the bottom and placed my own washers as spacers between the two because the heads of the bolts stand proud by an 1/8" or so. That eliminated the gap between frame and headboard legs so the headboard is attached snugly; it does not wobble or move. The headboard came with nuts and bolts to attach the two so no additional hardware was needed. The only minor con was the frame bolts supplied with frame are of typical overseas quality and some were difficult to start, one started to strip. Thankfully, there were two extras supplied. I used 3-in-1 oil on the bolt threads and the included ratchet driver and constructed by hand to eliminate any possible stripping. This is an outstanding frame, so we bought another Queen to replace another squeaky frame and boxspring in another bedroom and could not be happier. ... show more

I ordered 3 of these beds! Very fast shipping of 2-3 days. I am a woman that doesn’t even like changing light bulbs but putting these together was easy and quick by myself with no help. The first one took almost an hour, second was 40 minutes and third one was 30 minutes so if you are handy then it won’t take long at all. It comes with a nice little wrench to make it quicker and to be able to tighten the bolts really tight! There is no wobble at all. It seems very sturdy and well built. The ONLY issue I had was the side metal slats wouldn’t slide into each other to connect them. I had to hammer the metal just a little bit for it to fit. We like it. We kept our box springs and are using them still, so bed sets up pretty high. Took a couple nights to get used to that. We like it. Only problem is the box springs slide a little, easy adjustment back. There are adhesive tapes on the frame, but we didn’t peel them because we are planning on buying new mattresses from the local Amish mattress shop. Hopefully the adhesive tape will work on them. Otherwise no problem. No head board means pillows fall off, but not a big deal. Extra room under the bed a plus. Got this bed frame for college the only time it wasn't sturdy was when I forgot to add in the middle bolts so just make sure there's no bolts left over. Also make sure that the correct numbered bars are in the middle. Definitely recommend having someone to help you keep things in place while putting the first pieces together. If you have roommates or friends its fun and easier to build together and it also just makes the process faster. I had carpet so the bed frame did stay in place through ALL activities including my nephews jumping on the bed when ever they came to visit. The frame was also super easy to move around when I wanted to rearrange my room and or move out. I don't recommend dragging the bed frame around if it gets tugged on the carpet just lift it up or have someone lift it with you its super light. Lastly if you don't have to take it apart completely when moving out it's easier to detach the the bottom legs and hold the frame on the sides + avoiding garbing the middle bars since they don't screw on.
