It's been a month since I got this frame. Mine is gray and it's nice. I am about 240 lbs and feel it works well for me. I recommend that if you are heavy, do not jump into your bed. I don't think the bed is gonna break, but I remind myself not to do it. The wooden slats cover the frame well, so you do not have any problem with the slats supporting your mattress. It has also two slats with sticky tapes on them, preventing your mattress from slipping. It was not hard to assemble, but it takes some time obviously, maybe around an hour. The one thing is that I got a queen mattress on the frame, and it seems a little big for the bed. Not sure which one cause the problem, but it's not annoying and I don't count it as a negative point. Just wanted to mention it if you have OCD and this kind of things is important to you. ... show more

I searched for a replacement for slats on my old frame and found this that was just about the same price! Out with the old, in with the new. This bed frame was packaged properly so the contents weren't damaged, all pieces included and VERY easy to assemble. Took me 2 hours to take apart my old one and about half an hour to put this together. Mainly because the instructions show the border pieces should slide over bolts, but no, some assembly required there. Not much though. Got this on prime day for a nice $79.99. Took only two days to ship. And went home on break and built it in half any hour. Comes with a ratchet and all the screws are already in place minus the two for the middle bar. So I had to do was unscrew them slightly. Click the bars in. And then screw them back up. And it is so much nicer then my old bed frame. 10/10 would buy it again if I need one. ... show more

My recent purchase of the Zinus platform bed has been a mixed experience. On one hand, the listing provided thorough information and the instructional video was helpful in assembly. However, the instructions were somewhat vague, leading to initial mistakes and the hassle of disassembling and reassembling the bed. The wooden planks didn't fit perfectly on the sides, causing some inconvenience when changing sheets. Despite these drawbacks, the bed remains sturdy and the lightweight material makes it easy to move around. The included tool for assembly was convenient, and overall, the bed took about 20 minutes to put together. Like the title says. So quick and easy. Would buy again and recommend. I feel this would do better if the feet had something sticky on the bottom to keep it from moving on a bamboo/wood floor but that’s an easy fix. Arrived earlier than expected and I was able to assemble it on my own. Hardware consisted of two screws and an allen wrench. The feet are plastic but very sturdy. If you want to upscale the feet, you’ll want to purchase them separately. I was impressed by how well made the bed is in terms of how all pieces fit perfectly. A platform bed for only $99 is a great deal. It went together easily, and seems sturdy enough, but I would NOT want to try superman jumping onto this bed. This would've been a 5-star review, except my box was missing the necessary 2 bolts to hold the middle folding legs straight. Had to make a trip to the local hardware store for 2 metric M8 bolts that were about the right length ($3 down the hole). In hindsight, I think I would've preferred to buy a platform bed with a slight lip around the edge to contain the mattress a bit better. ... show more

I’m writing this review because my husband, who never writes reviews, so I should. He raved about the packing it arrived in, the Styrofoam corners were wrapped in plastic, making them stronger, and therefore avoiding damage to the bed itself. The tool sent, not your typical hexagon/Allen tool, he just loves. I included a picture of the tool, which also acts as a ratchet. The price is also great, what more could you ask for? ... show more
