The headboard looks great and assembly was easy enough. Unfortunately the numbers on the back were misplaced so had to install using the pictures not the number sticker. The attachment to the bed frame bolts are too long and not threaded enough for proper placement in a standard bed frame. I made my own bolts and it was a perfect fit. It took less than 30 minutes to assemble. You need to buy the bed frame attachment brackets so it can bolt up to my Zinus smart base. The mounting bolts provided where way too long to use. But the Zinus bed frame brackets had the right length, so no biggie.

I like the headboard. It’s sleek and it has a memory foam toe of cushion. I didn’t however like that it came dirty.

The headboard was carefully packed, arrived undamaged, and assembly was easy with one caveat. Part of the backing was hanging down into one if the bolt holes. That made it impossible to secure the bolt. I grabbed a flashlight, identified the problem and used a screwdriver to fish out the obstruction. After that, smooth sailing on assembly. The headboard looks great and the padding/fabric is better than expected. The bolts that are meant to secure the headboard to the frame were about 3 inches long. On a plain metal frame such as mine, the bolt extends so far in that it interfered with the mattress fitting down onto the side rails. (See picture.) Fortunately, we had screws from the old headboard that fit as needed, but had we not it would have been a significant inconvenience. ... show more
